"Children learn from having great mentors and role models that support their learning and development."
Guardian Childcare & Education Pascoe Vale is a light-filled, warm and welcoming Centre, with a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. There are three spacious outdoor yards where the children are encouraged to explore and learn, as well as herb and vegetable gardens, a climbing fort, mud pits, a copper water wall, rain tank, yoga experiences, and a range of other age-specific play areas.
Guardian Pascoe Vale is one of more than 40 Guardian Childcare Centres in Melbourne and around Victoria, and is a convenient choice for local families seeking high-quality care and education for their children.
The team of professionally-certified early childhood Educators and Teachers deliver an advanced play-based and nature-inspired curriculum, as well as a leading Kindergarten Program to help prepare your child for the exciting transition to school.
Children at Guardian Pascoe Vale are fortunate to get out and about on regular excursions, so we have a great connection with the local community. Favourite locations for the children to visit include our community garden, the park, post office, supermarket and our local primary school, which forms an important part of our transition to school programs.
We have a dedicated on-site cook who prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. The children and Educators enjoy venturing into the Centre gardens to gather herbs and vegetables to use in meals and in the hands-on cooking classes we host each week. These classes are a great opportunity for the children to learn about good nutrition and to test their budding taste buds with new foods and flavours.
Begin your adventure at Guardian Pascoe Vale today by booking a tour to explore the Centre or speaking with one of our team.

Our team of Educators are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. At Guardian, children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences.
Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework.
All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.
Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.
Guardian Childcare & Education Pascoe Vale is located on Cumberland Road in Pascoe Vale, close to both the Tullamarine Freeway and Bell Street, providing easy access for commuters in the north and west of Melbourne. We pride ourselves on our professional, safe, inviting and natural learning environments which warmly welcome all children, families and visitors.
Our centre has 188 places and caters for children from six weeks to five years of age in nine beautifully appointed rooms. We are known for our delicious and nutritious menu which offers breakfast, lunch and three snacks delivered by an innovative cook and kitchen staff. We have strong community partnerships, including those with our local primary schools and we actively support a positive transition to school for our funded kindergarten four and five-year-old children.
Our educational and learning programs are planned for each age group by qualified Educators, supported by a Senior Educational Leader who provides guidance and mentorship. Children’s interests, ideas, strengths and needs are central and we work in partnership with both children and their families to ensure that learning is meaningful.
Our passionate team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators are guided in their practice by many important documents and statements including, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, The National Quality Framework, The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics and our own play-based Guardian Curriculum, which itself is largely influenced by the Reggio Emilia Educational Project.
Our learning program includes a combination of structured and unstructured experiences, routines and rituals, and is largely child centred, placing high value on children’s inquiry, their voices and unique differences. Children are celebrated as active and curious learners, capable and competent with rights and agency.
Our learning programs also place value on giving children many opportunities for building their skills with self-help, self-regulation, co-construction with peers, independence, responsibility, persistence, social competence and emotional resilience.
At PVELC we have a culture of inclusivity, joy, empathy and community and look forward to welcoming your family into our family, where everybody belongs!
