Guardian Childcare & Education Ascot Vale

(Formerly Tree House)

Guardian Childcare & Education Ascot Vale is a custom-designed childcare Centre nestled in a Victorian heritage listed house. The Centre nurtures young minds and bodies with amazing spaces and expert-led learning programs.

The Centre offers an all-inclusive service in a convenient location for families seeking care close to home or on their way to work in Melbourne’s CBD. Guardian Ascot Vale is also close to public transport (trains and trams) and has ample on-site parking and pram storage available.

Guardian Ascot Vale applies a unique play-based learning approach that focuses on developing children’s natural skills and curiosity to prepare them for success in navigating school, employment and life. Our spacious Centre is equipped with high quality Reggio-inspired learning materials for all levels of early childhood development, and outdoor areas include natural-play spaces, structures and experiences with plenty of room for growing inquisitive and energetic bodies.

Children enjoy five healthy and nutritious meals per day (catering to any dietary requirements), prepared with fresh ingredients by an experienced on-site chef in a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen.

Our team of professionally-certified early childhood education specialists deliver an advanced play-based and nature-inspired curriculum that meets the National Quality Standard, as well as a leading Kindergarten Program to help prepare your child for the exciting transition to school.

Guardian Ascot Vale partners with families to deliver a holistic learning experience, keeping parents up-to-date throughout the day via our communication app and family portal, StoryPark.

The Centre designs regular incursions and out and about excursions in the local community, currently running a music program, a baseball sports program delivered by an Australian baseball champion, and an art program that runs out of our very own art studio within the Centre.

Guardian Ascot Vale boasts large outdoor play spaces that are available to children at all times of the day to support our indoor/outdoor learning program. The outdoor environment is an extension of the indoor areas and children have choice about where they want to play throughout the day.

We invite families to tour Guardian Childcare & Education Ascot Vale.

You and Your Child

All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.

Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.

Learn More About Our Centre

Guardian Childcare & Education Ascot Vale is located in a beautiful Victorian-era mansion. Although it has been renovated to meet modern educational standards, it retains the feeling of a big, warm and welcoming home. Outside, the children love exploring natural spaces, objects and materials including trees, dirt, grass and sand.

Children have the opportunity to learn at their own pace both indoors and outdoors, with an individual learning and development program that is tailored to their interests. Although we promote developmentally appropriate routines, they have the opportunity to interact with children of different ages across the centre. Fundraising days are a great way to bring all the children together and support a local charity at the same time.

We offer an extended orientation process to fully understand the needs, routines and goals of each child. Once in our care, families are provided with a range of opportunities to participate in their child’s program, and to stay updated on their development.
