Centre Manager
Our Centre Managers are the heart of our Centres. Leading our Teachers and Educators to deliver the highest quality care and education to all children.
Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Guardian Childcare & Education Freshwater (formerly Blueys Treehouse), which is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standard. The Centre is in an ideal location for families living in many northern beaches suburbs, including Freshwater, Queenscliff, North Manly, Manly Vale and Fairlight.
With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments – including beach-themed outdoor spaces – children are encouraged to explore and learn at Guardian Freshwater. The light-filled and spacious Centre also has non-stinging bees, worm farms, a boat, alfresco dining areas, and a range of age-specific ateliers.
Read this review of Guardian Freshwater from Northern Beaches Mums: “The transparency between educators and parents is important, so they use an app called StoryPark. It enables the Centre to provide real-time updates to parents, which is important for the parents but also supports open communication between the educators and parents. The focus is on providing children with plenty of opportunities to set them up for a lifelong love of learning.
Guardian Freshwater also offers a leading Preschool Program, led by Teachers with specialist early learning university degrees – giving your child the full benefits of a daily learning program while you are supported with the longer care hours we provide.
The community-minded team of Educators have been with the Centre for many years, and we’re proud to have a culturally diverse team who celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays. Children get out and about on excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. We have wonderful relationships with our local businesses, who always offer their support and donations for any events and fundraisers we organise.
Our on-site cooks prepare five nutritionally, balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the Centre, our community-focused Educators host cooking classes for the children to get involved and enhance their understanding of good nutrition.
Begin the adventure at Guardian Freshwater today by booking a tour to explore the Centre, chat with our team of Educators and learn more about our high-quality curriculum.
