Our Centre Managers are the heart of our Centres. Leading our Teachers and Educators to deliver the highest quality care and education to all children.
Guardian Childcare & Education Brunswick is a great childcare choice for families living in and around Coburg, Essendon, Northcote, Fitzroy and Carlton. Located only 6km north of the Melbourne CBD, the Centre is a convenient choice for families seeking high-quality care close to home, or on the way to the city for work.
With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments – including four recently renovated outdoor spaces – children at Guardian Brunswick are encouraged to explore and learn in their own unique way. The spacious Centre boasts facilities such as a ‘tinker lab’, an indoor/outdoor classroom, mud pits, shady trees, wooden decking, and a range of age-specific play areas.
The team of professionally-certified early childhood Educators and Teachers deliver an advanced play-based and nature-inspired curriculum, as well as a leading Kindergarten Program to help prepare your child for the exciting transition to school.
At Guardian Brunswick children get out and about on regular excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. We visit local attractions such as the creek, cafes, parks, Bunnings, the library and nearby supermarkets.
With a diverse and community-minded team of Educators who have been with the Centre for a long time, we are proud to celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year. These celebrations also provide the opportunity to teach children about diversity and the world around them.
Our on-site chef prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at Guardian Brunswick, our Educators host hands-on cooking classes where the children get involved and enhance their understanding of good nutrition.
Begin the adventure at Guardian Brunswick today by booking a tour to explore the Centre or speaking to one of our friendly team.

Guardian Childcare & Education Brunswick is located in a beautiful old heritage home, just a short walk from Sydney Road and Lygon Street in urban Brunswick. Although the home has been renovated, it has retained its heritage look and feel, providing a warm, inviting atmosphere that is full of natural light.
Outside the children can explore four exciting play spaces that cater for a diverse range of learning styles. There are a variety of natural materials to discover, as well as challenges they can set themselves to learn and grow. A unique indoor/outdoor room is also available for all children to wander through and enjoy, as well as quiet spaces for more passive-style learning.
We provide healthy meals each day that reflect our local community, catering for vegan, vegetarian and halal preferences, as well as any other dietary requirements. We ensure our meals have minimal refined sugars, and wholefoods are used where possible.
To give new children the best start at our centre, we offer a three day flexible orientation process. We appreciate that leaving your child in care for the first time can be stressful, so we are committed to keeping you well informed on their progress through face to face conversations, phone calls, and emails. Our open door policy means you are also welcome to come and visit your child any time throughout the day. We also have excellent relationships with our local primary schools, and can assist you with the transition process when the time comes for them to leave our centre.
