Guardian Early Learning – Flinders Street

Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Guardian Early Learning – Flinders Street. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments – including multiple enclosed outdoor areas, art ateliers and music and movement programs – children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled and open-plan centre also has luscious indoor gardens, a creek bed, a treehouse, sandpits, and natural play structures.

As the only inner-city childcare centre in Adelaide accepting children under 2.5-year-olds, our centre has a strong community, with many of our parents popping in on their breaks, or taking the children out to lunch to surrounding cafes.

Children get out and about on excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. We visit a variety of locations, including the Botanic Gardens, Rundle Mall, Adelaide Sustainability Centre, and the museum.

We are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year.

Our on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the centre, our Educators host cooking classes for the children to get involved in to enhance their understanding of good nutrition.
