Guardian Childcare & Education McKinnon

(Formerly Kids Time)

Every day is a new opportunity for discovery and growth at Guardian Childcare & Education McKinnon (formerly Kids Time). With a range of resource-rich environments, including water play areas, a vegetable garden, natural climbing structures, and a range of age-specific ateliers, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled and spacious centre also has an outdoor music space, French lessons, weekly cooking classes for parents. As part of our community focus, we’re planning to our excursion program later in 2019, to locations such as our local reserve park.

We are proud to have a diverse team of Educators and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year, including teaching the kinder children sign language.

Our on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. The children and Educators at Guardian Childcare & Education McKinnon often collect vegetables from the centre’s garden to add to the daily meals and use in cooking classes.
