Guardian Childcare & Education Richmond
Guardian Childcare & Education Richmond is just 3km from the Melbourne CBD and is a convenient choice for working families.
Bordered by Hawthorn, East Melbourne, Burnley and Southbank, Guardian Richmond boasts two spacious outdoor areas, an art studio, vegetable gardens, a ‘tinker yard’, a STEM atelier, and alfresco dining where children and families enjoyed shared meals prepared by our on-site chef.
Connections to the local community are so important at Guardian Richmond, which was reflected at our open day in 2017, where we opened our doors to the locals to come and meet the team.
Guardian Richmond shares a building with the Victoria Guardian Support Office and our famous Guardian Exchange, which brings our sustainability focus to life, as a home for resources to be shared throughout the Guardian community. Being part of this exciting hub means our team has access to brilliant training programs, and a shared café – including a well-loved barista – that we utilise for family breakfast each morning.
Guardian Richmond also has a leading Kindergarten Program, led by university-qualified teachers. This program is specifically designed to help children get ready for the exciting transition to primary school.
Our on-site chef prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. The children and Educators often collect vegetables from the garden to add to the daily meals and use in cooking classes and enjoy lunch in the café once a week.
Begin your adventure at Guardian Richmond by booking a tour to explore the Centre or speaking to one of our team.
