Our Flying Start to School program provides a specialised 2-year curriculum for children aged 3 to 5. Our unique program has two stages - Becoming Me for 3 year olds and Being Me for 4 year olds. Guardian is such a wonderful daycare! My daughter has attended this daycare since she was 6 months old, she’s now 3. She is treated so beautifully by all the educators and staff. This daycare has such a beautiful family feel, I have always felt at ease dropping my daughter off knowing she’ll have the best day. This centre should be so proud of all their staff, the culture speaks for itself. We are truly blessed to have them all as part of our village. I wish I could give them 10 stars!! Much love 🥰🥰

We cannot speak highly enough of Guardian Caringbah! Our daughter started just two months ago, and from day one, the team has been absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that not only was her transition into the centre smooth, but that we as parents felt supported and reassured throughout the process.Their communication has been outstanding—keeping us informed about our daughter’s emotions, progress, and overall well-being. It’s been such a comfort knowing she is in such caring hands, and the genuine effort they put into making her feel at home has meant the world to us.We are absolutely thrilled with the level of care and dedication from the entire team, and we would love for our daughter to stay at Guardian until she moves on to Big Girl School. I Highly recommend this centre.The staff are incredibly caring, supportive, and always make us feel welcome. The educators are dedicated and creative, focusing on preparing the children for primary school in a fun and engaging way. My child has attended this childcare centre for approximately 18 months and in that time, the educators have consistently demonstrated excellence through their support, helpfulness, and professionalism, and I have never encountered any issues. It appears that my child never comes home very hungry, which I can only attribute to the excellent work of the kitchen staff. Kudos to them for keeping the little ones well-fed and happy! Finally, the Management Team, comprised of Lauren, Liz, and Tammy, has been exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and friendly. If you are considering a childcare centre, I highly recommend this location.

I can’t speak highly enough of Guardian Caringbah, from the office team, to the centre manager Lauren and Assistant Centre Manager Liz, to the educators in every room and staff in the kitchens. My daughter has finally left and gone to big school but my son is in the Nursery room. We have been a part of Guardian since January 2021 and throughout the years they have been incredible! If anyone is looking to enrol their children in preschool - look no further! Highly recommended 💗

We have seen our daughter go from strength to strength in the care of the educators at Guardian Caringbah. Lauren and Tammy do everything in their will to accomodate to all the families needs and making it all seamlessly work. We couldn’t be happier with the care and service at Guardian Caringbah. I would highly recommend it to any family looking for a centre that truly cares for you as a family and seeing your child succeed and grow.

Great place to put your child in - especially preschool level. The education they get it’s unbelievable! Miss Dany is the best. You get photos every day and nutrition every day. Nice modern, clean and lots of light.

I had to change my daughter daycare and we ended up visiting the Guardian. From the minute we entered the centre we felt a really warm environment starting from the Manager down to the educators. The centre is spotless with beautiful rooms setup. Our daughter settled in less than a week, she has already created tight bonds with her educators and I can tell how much fun she is having every day.

I have been thrilled with the care and attention that Noah has received at the center, and I am so grateful for the incredible work that his educator, Matt, has done.Matt has been an exceptional caregiver for Noah, and I have been impressed with his commitment to helping Noah develop his sports skills. Matt has been so patient, kind, and focused on the details of Noah's development, and I can see the positive impact he has had on my son.The center itself is warm, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. The facilities are top-notch, and I always feel confident that my son is in good hands when he is there.Overall, I cannot recommend this childcare center and Matt enough. They have truly been a blessing in our lives, and I am so grateful for everything they have done for Noah. Thank you!

What a wonderful preschool! I had both my children here from 6 months until they went to big school. All the Educators are amazing, the facilities are always clean and up to date, they are provided with amazing food, and they are actually educated, not just minded!I could not recommend Guardian ELC Caringbah enough!I am so grateful & thankful I sent my children to Guardian ELC Caringbah.

My sister goes here, and has an amazing experience. She has plenty of friends and has a great time. She especially loves the sandwiches they have here lol.The only complaint I have is that a couple of times there’s been situations where we go to pick her up and she might have a bite mark, or got injured from another kid, but it normally gets sorted out very fast and luckily it doesn’t affect her too much. They handle it very well.

Rhythm of the Day
We know children (and families) like routine. Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.
Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.
Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.
Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.
As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.
There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.
Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.
There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.
For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.
Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.
As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.
Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

Our Centre Manager Rochelle is passionate about ensuring every child and family regards her Centre as a home away from home. With family communication as her priority, her team will ensure you always have a great understanding of your child’s learning.

- Regular communication with you – You’ll be kept up to date through our family communication app, StoryPark, and our unique Visible Learning Program gives you a great understanding of your child’s learning for the day at pick up. It will give you plenty to talk about with them on the drive home!

We boast several multi-lingual Educators who speak a number of languages – so you will feel included on your child’s journey with us, no matter your background.

At Guardian Caringbah we provide specialised care for every age group, plus learning experiences designed to cater to Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children.
Babies. Our Nursery Team includes a ‘Baby Ambassador’, who is specialised in the developmentally appropriate care and learning of babies. One-on-one time and cuddles are prioritised for your baby, with the security of always having a familiar Educator close by who knows your baby – and his or her routines – inside out.
Toddlers. With their own dedicated “village” in the Centre, complete with a rooftop playground, our toddlers can safely explore their growing independence through play-based learning.
Preschoolers. We work with you to discuss your child’s readiness to ensure they move to our Preschool Program when it’s time for them. Our program is specifically designed and delivered to prepare your child for the exciting transition to primary school – all with the added benefit of long care hours for our families. With new renovations we have new spaces available for our 3-5 year-olds now to meet community demand.

Our daily rates are all inclusive and have no additional charges for incursions / excursions or any of our learning programs. The rates shown are an estimate based on using Childcare Subsidy (CCS) subsidised hours. The CCS helps lower your out-of-pocket costs, with subsidy rates dependant on your individual family eligibility levels.

Preschool Program
Our Flying Start to School preschool program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.
Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the NSW Government’s Start Strong Program. Families can receive fee relief to reduce your out-of-pocket fees of up to $2174 per child aged 4 on or before 31July 2025, and up to $515 per year for children aged 3 on or before 31 July 2025. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.
Out and about
Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.
STEM
Children discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through age-appropriate activities that are designed to foster curiosity and develop foundational skills like problem-solving and creativity.
Cooking
Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.
Ella Language
Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.
Joy of Reading
Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.
