Guardian Childcare & Education Export Park is rated as exceeding in the National Quality Standard. As one of eight high-quality childcare Centres in South Australia, Guardian Export Park is fondly referred to as “Adelaide’s best kept secret!” The Centre features music classes, language lessons, weekly soccer skills, and a range of age-specific play areas for children to explore and learn.
With a range of resource-rich environments – including the largest outdoor play spaces in the western suburbs – the Centre boasts a water pump, creek bed, natural play structures and sprawling gardens which the children enjoy every day.
On top of the magical setting, Guardian Export Park also offers a leading Kindergarten Program, led by our university-qualified teachers. This program is in addition to the amazing programs and experiences our dedicated Educators and Teachers prepare for children of all ages – from six months to six years.
At Guardian Export Park our Children get out and about on weekly excursions, so we have a great connection with the local community. We love going to the airport for morning tea, supermarkets, local Aboriginal wetlands, the zoo and the Adelaide Central Markets. These experiences give the children an appreciation for the local community and expand their knowledge of the world around them.
Our on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day, and often hosts hands-on cooking experiences for the children. These experiences extend on the children’s knowledge of good nutrition, and also encourages them to try new foods and flavours.

Our team of Educators are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. At Guardian, children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences.
Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework.
All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.
Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.
Guardian Childcare & Education Export Park is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Our curriculum is rich and vibrant and we rely on input from our families to stimulate learning through our natural environments. Our possibilities for learning are child led and aided by individual observations and intentional learning experiences this is shown in our children’s learning journeys. Our program supports many different cultural beliefs, interests and stages of development. Our centre supports the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Our children are encouraged to make choices and give direction over their curriculum. Our children are successful, competent and capable learners. The children are encouraged to learn through experiences based on touching, moving, listening, observation and research. Our children are respected as individuals and are encouraged to learn in their own unique way with the world around them.
As Educators we provide the children with endless ways to express themselves. With the support of Educators, each child has a true sense of belonging to the Export family and are encouraged through excursions to be involved in the wider community. Our Children feel safe in their environment and love the flexibility of being able to move between the indoor and outdoor play spaces. The children enjoy the company of the Educators in all areas of their curriculum and find our team supportive of their learning and decision making throughout their day.
Our families are celebrated and the role of parents and carers are respected and supported. Parents are a vital component in our philosophy and are viewed as partners, collaborators and advocates for their children. Our Educators respect that parents are their child’s first teacher and involve parents in every aspect of the curriculum. Families are encouraged to be involved in our program and work closely with educators to ensure their child succeeds in every stage of their emotional wellbeing and development.
Our Educators are co-learners with every child in their learning journey, embracing each child’s interests and curiosities. Our Educators have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework; Belonging, Being and Becoming and have embedded the National Quality Standards into the service delivery. They provide a professional, caring and stimulating setting to enhance children’s learning. The Educators work closely with the community and are actively encouraged to access personal and professional development.
We treasure each child and take pride in their care and learning from babies through to their transition to school.
