I can't say enough good things, the team at Guardian have made our families transition amazing. Coming from a special needs background for both my children, I can't recommend Lisa, Marie, Abby and the team here enough. There are honestly no words... beyond impressed and just absolutely flawed at the professionalism and conduct of the team.. If you ever have the chance to enrol your child here, please take it... you will not regret.

The centre has a great culture and make you part of the family. The leadership team is always communicating changes, events and seeks feedback. When feedback is given it’s taken with gratitude and appreciation. All staff members genuinely care about your child, they know just what to do when they are needing that extra bit of attention. Do they catch every fall? Nope but what parent does, the team do all they can to make sure your little bundle of joy is safe. So if you are looking for a great place to look after your child then check this place out..

We transferred our daughter here from another centre when she was 10 months old and it was the best decision! The centre management team are passionate about children and remain resilient despite the many challenges faced in this sector. Lisa, Marie and Emma try their best to support families - always answering my doubts and concerns in an efficient manner, even during the initial winter sickness phase. The educators actively interact with and observe the children rather than simply "watch them" as we witnessed in many other centres. I would often find them dancing to music together during pick-up. My daughter can't wait to go to the centre every day and she can name all her friends and educators while smiling - children can't do that unless they're in a secure environment where they feel they belong. Attending this centre has been so beneficial for her social skills, emotional regulation skills, and language skills - it has been an incredible journey to witness her growth!

Love this childcare centre! They are so caring and tentative towards the children. They look after everything! Also super affordable as well. They are very convenient and one of few childcare centres that'll hold an EpiPen in case your kid have allergies. However, this one is positioned right next to QEII Hospital so we don't have to worry. We get regular daily updates of what they did that day and photos. Reviews of our child's learning progress. So far I am very happy with them.

My son started at 11m and we had to switch centre when he turned 2 due to a relocation. We were always greeted with bright smiles. Open door policy. Great food. The carers are full of energy and fun. So many activities, and the awesome sand pit. My son always came home full of sand, and colours on his hand, he had such a great time. He bonded with everyone. At 2yo he could name all his friends and educators when we showed him storypark photos. Thanks Lisa and the admin team, thanks Julie & Francis team. I don’t think I can find a better centre as you’ve set the bar so high. My son will definitely cherish all the memories, and so will I.

Strongly recommend! Regrettably, we have to go to another childcare since we will move to Sydney next year. We grately appriciate the teachers in Orange Grove East. They are very nice and patient. They helped my daughter get through the first couple of weeks smoothly. My daughter has been well taken care of and cared for here. She loves going there as every time I pick her up she always says " I want to stay" in mandarin.

From the second we called to enquire they have been onboard with our needs and requests. Really good team that all communicate well. Every question is answered with sincerity and never felt like a question was a silly question. The educators are all so caring and understanding of each child’s needs. They go above and beyond to make you feel reassured and have pure peace of mind while working you are working. The activities they do during the day really shape the children’s independence and help them explore more at home with the same inquisitive tone. Don’t even get me started on the house chef! Fresh food cooked daily that puts adult meal prep to shame. Changes weekly and seasonally.Rest assured your child is in a clean and safe area! They are learning to be independent in a positive environment with planned activities that stimulate there minds. Much better then what I could do at home.We love that we chose guardian and tell all our friends what a great place it is.

Lisa

"I believe that, no matter how much and how fast the world changes, a well-grounded, competent and confident child is best equipped to adapt to it. This is our goal".

Where children are supported to be brave, curious, and bold in their learning, for the best possible start to life.

Rhythm of the Day

With endless possibilities, there’s never a dull moment at Guardian and no two days are the same. Here’s what a day at Guardian might look like.

With endless possibilities, there’s never a dull moment and no two days are the same.

Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.

Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.

As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.

There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.

Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.

There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.

For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.

Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.

As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.

Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Learning should be fun! Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Kindergarten/Preschool Program

Our specialist two-year kindergarten/preschool program is led by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Children explore and understand their world in an environment of safety and security. It’s where they develop the foundational literacy and numeracy skills to thrive.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

STEM

Children discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through age-appropriate activities that are designed to foster curiosity and develop foundational skills like problem-solving and creativity.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
