We know children (and families) like routine. Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.

Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.
Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.
As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.
There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.
Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.
There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.
For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.
Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.
As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.
Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

Our team of Educators are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. At Guardian, children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences.
Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework.
At Guardian Childcare & Education Point Cook North your child will be nurtured and cared for by our team of Educators who will support your child as they learn and grow. Through a range of fun-filled early childhood education experiences, young minds are supported to develop the social and emotional skills that will set them up for a lifelong love of learning.
Community is a big part of daily life at our child care centre. We offer exciting learning experiences for all age groups including excursions to the local school, park, café and aged care facility. Even our youngest community members can take part in these excursions through the use of our eight-seater pram. Our regular visits from our local vet are always a highlight for both the children and Educators!
Our newly renovated outdoor yards are a wonderful feature of our child care centre where children are free to play and discover. Children are able to explore sustainability concepts through caring for the gardens, spend time constructing in our sandpits and take appropriate risks through running, jumping and playing in our open spaces.
We cater our child care services at the centre to make life easier for our busy families. We provide nutritionally balanced meals prepared by our own chef in our centre kitchen and provide necessities such as nappies, sunscreen and bedding for nap times.
Whether your child is six weeks or six years old, our Teachers and Educators are always observing – working to understand your child’s individual traits, likes and motivations. This means they’re better able to find what lights up each child’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Our kindergarten program is designed and led by teachers with specialist early childhood university degrees – all with all the benefits of long day care flexibility for families. Each early learning programs is designed specifically to help prepare your child to transition from early learning to school, and align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. Plus, our kindergarten curriculum has the Victorian Government Kinder Tick, which demonstrates our commitment to providing the best possible start to life for your child
We want to better understand your child to deliver them the best early education experience possible. So we connect with families in person and through our StoryPark app, so you can enjoy the learning journey alongside your child. StoryPark enables the centre to provide real time updates to families, which is important for you but also supports open communication between the educators and the families.
We develop each child’s literacy and numeracy skills to help them feel confident and prepared during the challenging leap into primary school. Our program supports the needs and routines of each of our families, and we ensure each child’s cultural background is supported and encouraged.
As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families will be able to gain an understanding of their child’s education. Our Learning Exchange Display will provide the opportunity for our Teachers and Educators to share updates on your child’s progress. It will also be a chance for you to have direct input into your child’s learning!
The focus is on providing children with plenty of opportunities and set them up for a lifelong love of learning. Our routines are flexible, and early learning programs are based on each child’s interests. Each child is encouraged to contribute their ideas about what to learn. We offer a variety of incursions and excursions throughout the year, all of which are included in your child’s fees.
We love seeing each child’s progress as they grow and develop during their time with us, and then welcoming their siblings when it’s their turn to attend the centre. It’s this consistency and family focus that has earned us the trust of our community.

Children discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through age-appropriate activities that are designed to foster curiosity and develop foundational skills like problem-solving and creativity.
