Highly recommend Mickleham road early learning. The ladies here are amazing. 5 stars isnt enough to show my appreciation. The educators are fantastic. I couldnt pick a better bunch of women to care for, teach and help my little one grow. The centre is so warm and inviting and I always know my daughter is getting a nutritious lunch. This is by no means a paid or fake review, just a helicopter mum who loves the staff that care for my child.

Welcome to our Centre

Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Tullamarine, a wonderful centre bursting with exciting early learning environments – including three spacious outdoor yards for children aged six weeks to six years. Featuring pergola areas, shady trees, vegetable gardens, natural climbing structures, a dedicated art room and a range of age-specific studios and workshops, the Centre is a true home away from home for our children.

The Teachers and Educators at the Guardian Tullamarine child care centre provide wonderful early learning programs for children, including a leading Kindergarten Program that also provides all the benefits of long daycare to parents and carers.

Our amazing day care and early learning centre include:

  • Passionate Educators who focus on building strong relationships with children and families
  • Bright, vibrant learning spaces full of resources designed to inspire curiosity, fun, and a sense of belonging
  • Shaded outdoor areas, a wooden fort, areas for water play and natural gardens; creating an exciting and stimulating environment for children to discover their world in a safe and secure way.
  • Included programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking, Outdoor Learning, Out & About Community Excursions, and Sustainability, with daily learning experiences designed to support your child’s development and growth
  • For babies, the Centre provides nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, high-quality formula and bed linen.

Led by an experienced Centre Manager, our Tullamarine early learning centre has a team of culturally diverse Teachers and Educators who take a personalised approach to learning, ensuring that each child receives the best possible care tailored to their own individual needs.

Supported by a passionate and dedicated team of university-qualified Teachers and Educators, our child care and day care centre in Tullamarine is an inclusive learning environment for children where a personalised approach to learning opportunities ensures children are supported to be bold, creative, and curious in their learning journey.

The high-quality programs at Guardian Tullamarine are designed by experienced early childhood professionals to support children in developing social and emotional skills, along with literacy, numeracy and problem-solving ability that prepares them for a life of learning. Our early childhood education programs are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standard, and the Australian School Curriculum.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the Centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,050 a year for children aged three years old and above in eligible long day cares in 2024. Ask us for more information when you visit our Centre.

Our team of passionate early childhood Educators and degree-qualified Teachers deliver an advanced play-based and nature-inspired curriculum, as well as a leading, two-year funded Kindergarten Program to help prepare your child for the exciting transition to school.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, Taringa families will also have the chance to gain an understanding of their child’s learning. Easily accessible for families, our Learning Exchange Display provides the opportunity for our Teachers and Educators to share with you any updates on their progress every day. You will also have the chance to share with us your own personal goals and visions for us to implement, having direct input in your child’s educational journey!

You are also given access to our family communication app Storypark, where we will share any significant updates in your child’s day, as well as any other important Centre updates, ensuring that you’re always connected, even when you’re not here. It’s great for busy families who want to stay connected with their little one’s learning journey, even when they can’t be there in person.

Connections to the local community are important for children’s learning and development, so the Centre offers excursions to the zoo, farm, local library and our nearby park. The team and children also take part in community fundraising activities by holding regular cupcake stalls which the children are actively involved with.

Our on-site cook Kevin is also a popular asset to the Centre, preparing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks every day, using seasonal ingredients. The children enjoy these meals at our family dining area and are invited to eat breakfast on arrival each day with their siblings and friends.

The children and Educators at Guardian Tullamarine often collect herbs and vegetables from their very own veggie patch to add to their daily meals and to use in cooking classes. Every Friday Kevin hosts a hands-on cooking class with children which goes through different recipes, cooking skills, hygiene and discussions on where food comes from.

Begin the adventure at Guardian Tullamarine by booking a tour or chatting to one of our team.

Learn More About Our Centre

At Guardian Childcare & Education Tullamarine we strive to provide the highest quality of education and care for your children. Our innovative teaching methods are designed to help our young learners develop their skills in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. We believe that early years learning should be creative and fun.

Our Educators and Teachers are warm and welcoming and are experienced in providing children with a safe, secure environment to grow and develop freely in their first few years. Our early learning Centre features multiple spacious rooms filled with beautiful colours and natural lights. There are plenty of fun and stimulating materials around the Centre to keep the children engaged and to inspire them to explore their childcare environment.

We are dedicated to providing proper nutrition to children, and our on-site cook prepares fresh meals daily to ensure each child has the opportunity to develop positive healthy eating habits. Our Educators empower each child to become active in the food preparation process, and many of the children help select ingredients, ask our cook questions and learn about the various nutrients in each meal.

Our family communication app, Storypark, provides our Educators and families with an opportunity to develop genuine reciprocal relationships. We regularly share images, videos, and messages about your child’s progress throughout the day, keeping you informed about your child’s growth, development and learning. We encourage families to use the Storypark app to develop ideas for continuing the learning at home.

For children aged three and four years, we have an amazing kindergarten program that runs with our long day care service to help prepare them for their upcoming transitions into formal schooling.

The kindergarten program is aligned wiht the Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). This program is specifically tailored to create educational experiences that will help children reach their full potential.

Our three-year-old program emphasises developing some of the social and communication skills that the children will use as they gain more independence. We encourage development in these areas through group play and some slightly more structured activities.

In four-year-old kindergarten, children further develop their communication, social and emotional skills, and they also begin exploring some numbers, shapes and phonics. We encourage children to practice reading simple sounds and words on their own, and we empower them through the learning process that comes with this. Through developing skills in these areas, children can feel more ready and confident as they begin their first year of primary school.

Guardian Tullamarine aims to provide children with a wide variety of experiences and learning opportunities, so we offer many different teaching programs throughout the week to help foster growth and development. Children are encouraged to interact with our on-site chef and engage in the cooking process themselves. They may choose to select some fresh ingredients to include in their meal, or they might like to practice serving up their food on their own.

Sustainability is another focus at our Centre, and we empower children to develop an understanding of recycling and other sustainable practices while developing a genuine passion and care for looking after our planet.

Our Out & About program encourages children to spend more time playing outdoors in the fresh air and natural sunlight. We have a beautiful, spacious outdoor environment for the children to explore and practice engaging their imaginations and creativity.

We develop each child’s literacy and numeracy skills to help them feel confident and prepared during the challenging leap into primary school. Our program supports the needs and routines of each of our families, and we ensure each child’s cultural background is supported and encouraged.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families will be able to gain an understanding of their child’s education. Our Learning Exchange Display will provide the opportunity for our Teachers and Educators to share updates on your child’s progress. It will also be a chance for you to have direct input into your child’s learning!

Why not come and meet the team and have a look around our childcare Centre today? We’d love to show you why Guardian Tullamarine is the perfect learning environment for your child. At Guardian, we believe that together, we can create life-long learners.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
