Guardian Childcare & Education Kellyville

(Formerly Playdays)

Guardian Childcare & Education Kellyville is a spacious Centre bursting with exciting, resource-rich environments. The Centre has two natural outdoor yards, including a creek bed, a water pump, mud pits, vegetable gardens, guinea pigs and a range of age-specific studios and play areas.

The team at Guardian Kellyville use the family communication app StoryPark to stay connected and ensure families are kept up-to-date about what’s happening. We share photos, videos and updates about the experiences the children are doing throughout each day, and the learning outcomes delivered from these. This ongoing partnership promotes continuity of learning and ensures our families feel connected to what is happening in the Centre at all times.

Guardian Kellyville also offers a leading Preschool Program, led by our university-qualified teachers which helps prepare our older children for the exciting transition to school. This program is in addition to the amazing learning experiences our dedicated Educators and Teachers prepare for children of all ages – from six months to six years.

Children at Guardian Kellyville enjoy getting out and about on regular excursions, so we have a great connection with the local community. We visit locations such as the local library, duck pond, Rouse Hill town centre, and the primary school next door which forms an important part of our Preschool Program for the older children.

With a community-minded and culturally-diverse team of Educators who have been with the Centre for a long time, we are proud to celebrate a variety of holidays throughout the year, including Holi and Chinese New Year. This community spirit was alive and well recently when the children participated in the Fiver for a Farmer campaign.

Our on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the Centre, our dedicated Educators at Guardian Kellyville host hands-on cooking classes for the children to extend their understanding of good nutrition.

Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.

Learn More About Our Centre

Guardian Childcare & Education Kellyville is warm and welcoming, with large open playgrounds and bright spacious rooms, that cater to all age groups.

Positive relationships with each child help to create a sense of belonging, as we work in partnership with families to provide best quality care and education for their children. Children develop a lifelong interest in learning, incorporating 21st century learning skills, which will stay with them beyond their schooling years.

We encourage an appreciation for nature by embedding sustainability practices into our daily routines and also promote responsibility and care through involving our children in looking after our guinea pigs and fish.

The children enjoy visits from family and community members, who come to our service and share special interests and talents such as, cooking, sports, and gardening. Excursions into the local community are conducted for the children to explore, discover and investigate the world around them. Intentional teaching experiences are programmed for the children to take part in, following a Reggio Emilia approach to learning. Individual and small group activities provide opportunities for the children to express themselves creatively through art, music and dramatic play.

Our experienced chef provides nutritious meals for the children, based on the Munch n Move principles, which caters for all allergies and different preferences. Our nutritious meals include fresh, seasonal ingredients and tempt even the fussiest of eaters!

New families are encouraged to take a tour of the centre and participate in our orientation program. Once in our care, we will keep you informed on your child’s progress every step of the way through a daily StoryPark post and verbal and written communication.
