Our approach to early childhood education at Bridge Kids means your family has access to high-quality education and care services in Eltham. We’re about building strong relationships with children and families, ensuring we create amazing learning experiences for each child and age group. We are committed to best practices in our child care Centre, ensuring a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for babies, toddlers, and kindergarten-aged children.

Each learning program is designed by experienced Educators to support children in developing social and emotional skills, along with literacy, numeracy and problem-solving ability that prepares them for a life of learning. Our learning programs are aligned with the Early Years Framework and Australian School Curriculum and use the best educational resources to support children to develop and learn.

As they progress, children will also have the chance to see the same familiar faces as they move on up from our nursery room, into our dedicated two-year Kindergarten program, designed specifically to help prepare each child for a smooth transition from early learning to primary school.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the Centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,050 a year for children aged three years old and above in eligible long day cares in 2024. Ask us for more information when you visit our Centre.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families are able to gain an understanding of their child’s education. Our Learning Exchange Display provides the opportunity for our university-qualified Teachers and experienced Educators to share updates on your child’s progress. It is also a chance for you to have direct input and be involved in your child’s learning! Visible Learning is unique to Guardian early learning centres.

Families have access to our communication app Storypark, allowing us to share important Centre updates, as well as exciting activities or milestones–ensuring that you remain connected, day-to-day. "I believe each child is unique and individual and my educational beliefs are underpinned by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which advocates experiences in a natural and child-centered environment, both indoors and outdoors. Seeing things through the eyes of our children can be very inspiring, contributing to a happier and more positive environment, and more meaningful interactions".

My son is in the Nursery room, and absolutely loves coming everyday. When we come through the entrance he runs towards his room door hugging the educators when he walks in. Highly recommend.

Bridge Kids has come such a long was over the past few months and is only getting better as the days go on. Initially I became an educator here and we’ve all come together and put in a lot of hard work to refresh the centre and the program. Now, my own children attend full time and are thriving. They can’t wait to get up and go to ‘work’ in the mornings and hate it when we have to leave. This centre isn’t just our childcare/work - the team have honestly made it our second home and I am so grateful.
