Our daughter absolutely loves St Clair Guardian. She gets excited when pulling up, and almost forgets to kiss us goodbye when running into her toddler room. The staff have always made her feel so so welcome and she loves all the people that work there. Highly recommend.

We toured a few childcare centre in search of one we liked and trusted. St Clair Guardian stood out above them all. Our daughter started there in January 2022 being a first time mum and going back to work full and our 7 month old in childcare was made so much easier by this centre. Our daughter comes home happy and well feed every day, she is learning new thing daily and we can tell she loves it there. The staff are extremely helpful, kind and caring. The office staff and manager of the centre Lisa are always happy to answer any questions and have been on top and communicates extremely well with any sickness or COVID related information for the centre. The updates we get through the app they use you can tell they have taken the time to know our daughter. I look forward to the alerts from my phone from them with photos and information on what they have been up to.

I could not recommend Guardian St Clair enough. The educators are friendly, thoughtful and my daughter absolutely loves attending. The center is always clean, my daughter eats all of the healthy meals provided and has a lot of fun. We are updated with photos of the day and little stories of her achieving milestones. Guardian St Clair also looks out for the little things, we have had the most lovely gifts from our daughter for mothers and fathers day. The communication from the center is also excellent, we are fully informed of any illnesses in the center and they send a regular newsletter with helpful information. We looked at five centers on our journey to Guardian St Clair and as soon as we walked in we knew it was the place for us. Our daughters development has gone from strength to strength, she comes home singing songs and new words every day. We could not be happier with our experience and would highly recommend this childcare center

Our little boy absolutely loves being in St Clair Guardian. We are very upset about moving centres, but have had to for work and purchasing a house in a different area, so it’s a real shame to leave. We have been so grateful for the support the team have shown to him and us. It has truly been a fantastic experience!

Such an amazing centre! We can not recommend it enough! The staff are attentive and committed to providing fun play based learning. The food the kids are given each day is excellent and the dinning area they share is just beautiful. It's always clean which can't be an easy thing to do with such an amazing mud kitchen available. We are so happy we moved.

My son absolutely loves going to childcare at Guardian in St Clair. We moved to North Haven at the start of the year. He had already spent 2 years at a Guardian childcare on the other side of town and in my search for a new centre in the area - every childcare I looked at didn't compare. So decided to tour Guardian St Clair even though there were childcares closer to our new home. As soon as we started our tour - we felt comfortable and at home. What stood out the most was the beautiful and creative space they provided for our little one to grow and develop in and all of the staff were absolutely lovely. I was already a big fan of the style of education that Guardian provided so it was a 'no brainer' for me.With all the new pressures and restrictions that have come with COVID-19, the staff at Guardian have never faltered in providing the highest level of care. Whilst they have continued to ensure that the centre is extremely clean and social distancing measures adhered to - they have also continued to provide a warm, caring and delightful environment for my child to safely learn and play in. They have been very responsive to any questions and gone out of their way to help us navigate this tricky time.Honestly, I cannot recommend St Clair Guardian any higher - it really is an exceptional childcare.

BEST Childcare in Adelaide! We changed our son some months ago from another childcare in the city and we can see the impact it has made on our baby boy. We were concerned on how he would adapt but after just few days he settled very well. He comes back home every day happy and has improved in so many areas especially on his speech. Something I really like as a Mom is that they have their own chef who puts together every week a great healthy menu of course without forgetting the special treats they get now and then but everything healthy and home made! We can't thank enough Lisa, Michelle and the whole team of Nursery 2 for taking such good care of our Emilio!

Rhythm of the Day

With endless possibilities, there’s never a dull moment at Guardian and no two days are the same. Here’s what a day at Guardian might look like.

With endless possibilities, there’s never a dull moment and no two days are the same.

Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.

Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.

As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.

There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.

Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.

There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.

For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.

Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.

As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.

Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

We also set up different learning outcomes for the children through Storypark, which supports them in achieving developmental milestones and understanding new ideas.

We develop each child’s literacy and numeracy skills to help them feel confident and prepared during the challenging leap into primary school. Our high-quality program supports the needs and routines of each of our families, and we ensure each child’s cultural and family background is supported and encouraged.

We’re committed to children’s nutrition, and our on-site cook prepares each meal fresh and packed with all the nutrients that children need at their age. We encourage children to engage in food preparation and to ask questions about where their food comes from, why it’s good for them, and how they can eat it. We also encourage exploration of the cultural heritage behind different foods, helping promote diversity and inclusion from an early age.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families will be able to gain an understanding of their child’s education. Learning should be fun! Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Preschool Program

Our specialist two-year kindergarten/preschool program is led by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Children explore and understand their world in an environment of safety and security. It’s where they develop the foundational literacy and numeracy skills to thrive.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

STEM

Children discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through age-appropriate activities that are designed to foster curiosity and develop foundational skills like problem-solving and creativity.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
