Guardian Early Learning Centre – Haberfield

Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Guardian Early Learning Centre – Haberfield. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments – including a community library and rooftop yard – children are encouraged to explore and learn. The light-filled and homely centre also has a light atelier, natural mud kitchen, a water pump, bike paths, vegetable gardens, and a range of age-specific ateliers.

We are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays.

Children get out and about on excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. Favourite destinations include Rafael’s Bakery, our local library and visits to Haberfield public school for the preschoolers.

Our on-site cook, Dian, prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. With a Certificate III in Childcare, Dian loves conversing with children throughout the day and hosting cooking experiences.

Our Educators

Our team of Educators are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. At Guardian, children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences.

Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework.

You and Your Child

All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.

Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.

Learn More About Our Centre

Our Haberfield centre offers a range of experiences through our childcare program that we believe are important for any child’s development in their early years. Our curriculum is modeled on the National Early Learning Years Framework which recognises the incredible value of investing in the first five years of a child’s life and the vital role that educators play in developing the whole child.

We aim to cater for children’s individual routines by practicing consistency between families’ homes and centres and by talking to parents about changes as children grow.

We ensure that all children have the opportunity to achieve and experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities in aesthetically pleasing environments designed for growing bodies and creative minds.
