The Centre:
Guardian Manifold Heights is a 109 place centre, perfectly situated for families living in surrounding suburbs such as Manifold Heights, Herne Hill, Newtown, Highton, Geelong West, and Hamlyn Heights.
Featuring on-site parking and located close to nearby bus stops, our centre is situated closely to Manifold Heights Primary School, various parks and playgrounds, as well as multiple shops and cafes; making it conveniently accessible to all families.
The Opportunity
- Develop a seasonal, nutritious menu that respects individual requirements regarding medical conditions, food preferences, and cultural considerations and ensures children’s health and wellbeing
- Ensure children’s health and wellbeing
- Building strong relationships with the children, Educators, families and the Centre community
- Ensure best practice food safety and hygienic standards are always upheld.
To be considered, you will have:
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards is desirable.
- Experience in childcare kitchen is desirable.
- Experience in cooking for dietary, cultural and allergy needs.
- An awareness of your personal responsibilities under the current Child Protection Laws
- Ability to work full time/5 days (Monday to Friday)
- Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC for VIC state)
