We focus on building strong relationships with children and families, providing amazing learning experiences tailored to each child’s age group. Our commitment to best practices in early education supports children’s learning in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

Each early childhood education learning program is designed by experienced Educators to support each individual child in developing the emotional and social skills, along with literacy, numeracy and problem-solving ability that prepares them for a life of learning. Our learning programs are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards, and the Australian School Curriculum and use the best educational resources to support children to develop and learn.

We encourage children to explore and learn, with the added benefit of a two-year preschool program led by university-qualified Teachers who are there to help prepare your child for the exciting transition to school. Each Early Childhood Teacher supports preschool children to be active participants and become independent learners in the transition to primary school.

The NSW Government offers funding to provide families at our Centre fee relief of up to $2174 per child aged three and above, and up to $515 per year for children aged three. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees.

Our highly experienced Educators and degree-qualified Early Childhood Teachers support children’s learning and development with a focus on building strong relationships with children and families. Our programs are tailored to each child’s individual needs, ensuring that they have the best environment possible to learn and grow.

Our multicultural early learning centre, represented in our team and families, highlights the community and many different languages can be heard throughout the day in our Centre.

As part of our unique Visible Learning program, our Learning Exchange display provides opportunities to share your child’s progress. You are encouraged to share your own personal goals for us to implement, meaning that you have direct input in your child’s educational journey!

I have had three kids at this centre with one still currently there. The staff are the biggest asset. They nurture and support the children to grow and engage them in creative learning activities. The food was well liked by all my kids (even the fussy eater). The staff here are amazing… we love the centre manager and all the team. Highly recommend.

We moved our toddler here after a not so great experience at a different centre and the change in him was almost immediate. It was a no brainer to send our 8 month old here when I went back to work after maternity leave and the transition has been seamless. Such a beautiful centre, all the staff are so lovely and approachable.

My 2YO attends Guardian Roseville. The team work incredibly hard to ensure the centre is a beautiful, safe, and warm environment for the children and families. The learning activities, resources and learning updates they provide for the children are abundant and thoughtful. You can tell the staff members genuinely love what they do and care about the children in their care. My child has (and us as a family by extension have) been much happier, calmer and thriving since relocating to Guardian Roseville from another local centre.

Staff are amazing and my little one has a great time here. They have recently done a huge update of the outdoor play areas and the kids LOVE it. Care standard is excellent and the Centre Director, Kristy and Assistant Manager, Shaoli are warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and always available for questions or a chat.

My kids have loved going here from 6 months all the way through until nearly kindergarten now. The centre has lovely caring staff who help my kids grow and learn, there is plenty of investment in facilities and it excels at training new educators, even through the hardships of Covid lockdowns. Communication from staff is excellent across the board and they go out of their way to cater to the needs of each individual child. I would feel comfortable recommending this centre to anyone who lives in the area.

I'm so relieved to have placed my toddler at Guardian. The centre manager Kristy and educators, especially Teacher Hui, have been so considerate and thoughtful in helping me find ways to transition my toddler into their care and to help my toddler thrive. From day 1 Teacher Hui was quick to identify my toddler's needs and concerns and actively problem solve with me, and go on to implement and review our tailored plan. Since then, my little one has been coming back home happy and healthy each day and is thriving. This is a massive change to how my toddler behaved and how their health was previously, and brings us immense relief. We are so thankful to Guardian for their high quality educators, thoughtful care and keen attention given, from the warmth and cleanliness of the room environment to the daily program and down to the individal child's needs. When we first toured Guardian, a parent told us how satisfied they were sending their two kids there - we now understand and are more than happy to extend that same recommendation.

Our daughter started at Acrewoods (Guardian Roseville) 6 months ago and loves it. At drop off in the morning she actually says yay and is always happy to go to her educators. Emma, the centre manager, Winnie and their team who look after the under two years olds all do a fantastic job. My daughter adores her days with them and has built great relationships with her educators. She is learning so much. Every day is full of brilliant activities which help them to develop their mental, physical and emotional selves. We couldn't be happier with the centre and are so comfortable knowing she is such great hands everyday. The team here genuinely care for the wellbeing and development of the children they look after. Highly recommend this centre.

Roseville Acre woods is best in class. Every bit of what they do is excellent. My two girls just love it there. Each day they run in and hug the educators. Their days are filled with fun, exploratory & educational activities. I get daily emails with photos, which means I can see how they are doing and talk to them about their days.We looked at several centres when we first moved and this was the best for us in so many ways. Clare does a fantastic job running the centre. The ethos of learning is just wonderful.

My 3 year old has been attending for nearly a year. The educators are all brilliant and genuinely caring toward the children. My son loves going to preschool so much so that I have had no hesitation in increasing his days recently to return to work more. His day is filled with educational play and great nutritious food, they also have a wonderful large outdoor play area, and post daily updates on storypark so you can see exactly what activities the kids have been up to during the day, we talk about it in the car on the way home. Can't recommend enough.

Rhythm of the Day

We know children (and families) like routine. Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.

Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.

Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.

Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.

As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.

There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.

Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.

There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.

For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.

Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.

As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.

Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

Roseville Centre Manager Image

Emily

Our Centre team, led by our experienced Centre Manager Emily, prides themselves on creating a great sense of community for all families.

Each role in the Centre is designed to work together to help create a nurturing environment for every child in each of our learning spaces.

In our Nursery Room, the dedicated team has a special role in creating secure attachments, routines, and strong relationships. Unique to Guardian nurseries is our Baby Ambassador, who is your go-to person for you and your baby’s first 12 months with us. They will know every detail about your baby: how breast or bottle milk is managed, how they like to eat, their sleeping routines, the nappies they wear, and more. With babies as young as six weeks in the Centre, it’s the Baby Ambassador’s job to work with families and Educators to help make our Nursery feel just like home.

Our Educators across the age groups work together to create fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate experiences for every child in their care. They are dedicated, experienced professionals who are allocated to a specific room so they can get to know each child individually and support their learning and development.

As part of our 2-year Flying Start to School program, we have degree-qualified Teachers who use the latest teaching practices to help your child build essential practical and social skills, ensuring they’re ready for their next big adventure—school!

Each room has a Lead Educator or Teacher who is responsible for planning and implementing an effective ongoing cycle of planning, documentation, and evaluation of the room’s learning program.

At the core of the Centre is our Cook—make sure you check out their daily menu when you visit. They help make food part of the learning journey and love seeing how children respond to new and exciting flavours.

The team is supported by a strong Leadership Team, including an Assistant Centre Manager and an Educational Leader.

Every role at the Centre is as important as the next.

How will you share updates about my child’s day?

Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:

  1. Storypark app - Stay connected to your child's day with regular updates, including photos and learning insights

  2. Pick-up and drop-off updates – Our Educators will share highlights from their day, including experiences they enjoyed, mealtimes, and naps to support your evening routine.

  3. In-room learning exchange displays make our weekly learning plans easy to see so you know what your child will be learning.

  4. Centre Newsletters – Great for community connection and wider Centre and team updates.

  5. Development documentation and meetings for your individual child’s progress.

But remember our door is always open.
