About Our Centre Our Fig Tree Pocket centre is set on three-quarters of an acre with a huge natural playground. Children enjoy:
- Modern fort, 2 large sandpits, and open grassed areas
- Mature shade trees, lush gardens, and a veggie patch
- Chickens, a garden cubby house, water pump, creek bed, and digging patch
You’ll join a supportive, long-standing team and a Centre Manager who values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Your Role
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Plan and deliver engaging programs inspired by exploration, discovery, and play.
- Document and share children’s learning journeys with families.
- Contribute to our Guardian Curriculum and innovative teaching approaches.
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or currently studying).
- Experience in a long day-care setting.
- Knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.
- Current QLD Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
