The Centre:
Mulgrave South, proudly part of the Guardian family, is a 102-place Centre located on the roundabout of Wanda Street and Valewood Drive. Families and educators enjoy the convenience of free onsite parking via Valewood Drive, while the 848 bus stops directly outside the Centre for easy access.
Our deceivingly large outdoor yard wraps around the entire Centre, featuring wooden forts and bridges, flourishing vegetable gardens, and a worm farm that supports our sustainability focus. Inside, children are immersed in rich learning programs including cooking and nutrition, ELLA second language, The Joy of Reading, sustainability practices, and arts and crafts.
Mulgrave South is a vibrant, community-focused Centre where educators are supported to create meaningful learning experiences in an inspiring environment.
At Guardian, we’re a place people love to be.
Here’s what you’ll bring:
- Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Diploma (or working towards it or working towards another ECE qualification)
- Availability to work between from 7am- 6pm, Monday to Friday, with a rotating roster
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC for VIC).
Ideal to have:
- Child Protection Certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- Over 2-3 years of experience in the early childhood education sector
