I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care and love my son has received since starting at this centre in September 2025. As a mother of a child with ASD who is somewhat non-verbal, finding a place where your child is truly seen, understood, and celebrated is everything. He is the happiest he has ever been, and I truly believe this centre has become his second home.

I want to express my deepest, most special gratitude to Sonali. From day one, the way she has cared for my son has been nothing short of extraordinary. He is so deeply attached to her, and as a mother, being able to rely on someone so completely is a gift. Sonali knows him on such a profound level and she notices even the smallest details of his habits. For instance, she recognized that he struggles to eat when it gets noisy, so she ensures he has his own special, quiet mealtime where she provides one-on-one attention. This allows him to feel relaxed and finish his meal in the calm environment he prefers. Her level of observation and genuine love for him is visible in everything she does.

The educators here are masters at engagement. Despite my son having his own unique way of exploring the world, the team makes sure he is never left out. They adapt activities so he can participate alongside his peers, providing just the right amount of help to help him navigate his surroundings with confidence. I am also so impressed with how the centre keeps us updated via Storypark. The daily learning stories and photos are wonderful, but the individual monthly stories are truly beautiful and so thoughtfully written.

I want to mention Tegan, Katherine, Mythili, Chutima, and Siri for the absolute love and care they pour into the children’s wellbeing every single day. A special shout-out to our beloved Chef Sandra, who is always so welcoming and makes the most delicious meals. She is fantastic at communicating with parents about feedback, which is so important as my son is a very picky eater. I was even touched when the Centre Manager, Tegan, went out of her way to order the specific yogurt pouches he loves. Tegan puts so much effort into arranging the rooms so beautifully to make the children feel good, and the way they celebrate all cultures, like the Eid celebration for families, shows how much they respect and value us. Thank you to the entire team for making my child feel so safe, loved, and included.

My daughter has been attending Guardian Childcare & Education Tarneit Grand Central since the day the centre opened, and we’ve had a wonderful experience.

She is learning so much, and the team are fantastic at keeping families updated through Storypark and chatting with us at pick-up about what she has learned during the day. After having six weeks of holidays, she resettled back into care with ease, which made us as parents feel really comfortable.We know she is happy and feels safe there, as she is always active and excited to see us at pick-up.

A special mention to Sandra, for her awesome cooking skills and daily updates on menus.

Also special mentions to Munfarah and Sharmin, who are amazing educators, who warmly welcome my child every time they see her.

Since then we have noticed wonderful progress in our kid’s communication, object identification, being independent eater and developing social skills. After visiting a few Daycare Centres, we only chose Guardian Tarneit Grand Central for our son and couldn't be happier with our decision. From the moment we toured the centre for the very first time, we loved the friendly atmosphere and were welcomed by Tegan who explained everything in detail and eased our worries to help settle our son. Her communication skills were truly outstanding.

My son started going to Nursery and is now in Toddler 1. All his educators are very friendly and caring. Saba is amazing with her knowledge, skills and provided exceptional care for my son in Nursery Room.

In Toddler 1, I am highly satisfied with Munfarah and Sharmin. They both put a lot of effort in providing the best care possible for all the little ones and I feel very satisfied, knowing that my son is safe and secure. Sharmin and Munfarah always tells me about how my son's day went and happily answer my queries.

All the staff of GTGC is wonderful. The chef Sandra is beyond amazing in her cooking skills and always welcomes with a beautiful smile.
Choosing GTGC was the best decision we made for our son 😊 and I have also recommended this centre to my friends 😊

My daughter enrolled in guardian childcare tarneit grand central last year in 2025. I was very scared in the beginning but the staff and management was so warm welcoming and kind they supported my daughter as well as make sure she’s happy, settled, safe and secured. I was so amazed she’s the happiest kid here. I’m satisfied and not worried at all because my daughter is happy, loved by her educators, feel safe and secured. My daughter is a fussy eater, I’m also glad that she started eating by herself now and eating well.
I’m so grateful to Tegan, Steph, Dani, Katherine, munfara, sharmeen, Saba and Alex for the wonderful support and love and always taking care of the kids. And the best chef Sandra, she always make the best food even she offered us to try I love her and her food.

Truly incredible staff and care

Choosing a childcare centre is such a big decision, but we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From day one, the team here has made us feel like part of the family rather than just another client.
Our transition was made so much easier thanks to Sonali, who was so supportive and communicative that talking to her felt just like catching up with a favorite auntie. Siri was also incredible during those early days; she is so lovely and welcoming, and she always has such a calm, professional way of navigating the room— and super easy to talk to and genuinely friendly
Katherine and Mythili were there from the start as well, and we are so grateful for their patience; they truly take the time to understand our daughter’s specific needs, and their gentle, understanding nature has made us feel completely at ease leaving her in their care. The way she has settled in is proof of that—it’s heartwarming to see and hear her walk up to them and give them hugs from behind while they’re sitting down. It’s so clear how safe and comfortable she feels with them.
It’s also been lovely getting to know Lyes since she joined the team. She has such a wonderful, welcoming energy that fits in perfectly, and it’s been fantastic seeing how quickly she has bonded with the children.
I also have to give a special shout-out to Chris Sandra,. Seeing her is one of our favourite part of walking into the centre! She is an absolute delight! She always greets us and our daughter with such a bright, genuine smile, and it’s lovely to see someone so dedicated to the children’s happiness. She’s so generous, too—almost every time we walk out, she offers us food, and she’s just as thoughtful with the parents as she is with the children.
The management team has also been fantastic—they’ve made everything so easy for us from an administrative perspective, which is just the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. we are so happy with the care our daughter receives. We highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a loving, professional, and nurturing environment.

My daughter has moved to the Kinder 2 room now, and she started in the Kinder 1 room. She has really enjoyed her time here.
I know many parents only come for drop-off and pick-up, but for me the most important thing is seeing who makes my child happy and why she enjoys being here. My daughter often talks about three people she spends the most time with. She especially loves the way her teachers, Mythili and Sonali, behave with and care for her. Whenever she enters the room and sees one of them, she always runs to give them a big smile and hug.
She also really loves Sandra, who cooks delicious food for the kids. My daughter often talks about the meals and enjoys them a lot.
Apart from that, as a mum I also appreciate the reception staff. They are always helpful and provide clear information whenever I have questions or doubts.
Overall, it’s very comforting as a parent to see my child happy and excited to come here

I’ve had a wonderful experience with this childcare centre. My child’s transition was very smooth, and the educators built such lovely relationships with the children. My lil one adores Sonali and Kathrine. I am so relaxed throughout the time because I know my lil kne is at her safe place. Communication has always been clear and on point. We love the fresh fruit bowl. Our child is always excited to have some apples on the way home, and we always look forward to the evenings, as there is always some food at the kitchen window for us to taste.

I have a son enrolled in this daycare. The staff have been so friendly, welcoming and consistent in their high quality care for the children and families who attend. The centre itself is beautiful, clean and inviting. The chef cooks wonderful food the families are welcome to try some of the dishes. The educators have built a meaningful relationship with my son and he is genuinely happy to go to daycare each day. They collaborate well with my family so I have no worry about his care when I go to work. You know your child feels a sense of “home” in someone when you see the way there face lights up when they see a person That’s the feeling that the following ladies have given my daughter. My daughter absolutely loves Hema, Saba and Sandra. I have one daughter in Nursery and I love how Hema always greets me and updates me about her day. Hema just gives me that feeling that she cares and that’s what makes me feel safe. I also have another child in Toddler room, mornings are always hard dropping her off but whenever she sees Saba or Sandra she instantly wants to go to them. I also love how Saba has taken the time to get to know my toddler and the way she talks to her.

Overall I’ve loved my experience at Guardian. When I first did my tour the one thing that stood out to me is the cleanliness and kind all the educators are. I was recommended this place by a friend and even tho it’s a 15 min drive from home and there’s other daycares around me I choose to go to Guardian because of there quality of service

The educators and room director Hemalatha in the Nursery room are amazing, attentive, respectful, kind and caring. We’ve had such a great experience with this childcare centre so far. From day one, both my daughter and I have felt welcome and supported. The centre is always clean, and the educators have taken the time to really get to know my daughter and understand how to help her feel happy and calm.

I recently toured Guardian Tarneit Grand Central and had such a wonderful experience. My eldest daughter attended another Guardian centre, so I was thrilled to hear that one was opening up in our local area.

The tour with Stephanie was incredibly informative, and it was beautiful to see the thoughtfully designed classrooms, the amazing range of toys, and the intentional learning experiences planned for the children.

I’ve also had the chance to attend some of the stay-and-play sessions and a menu tasting with my son — and we’ve yet to leave without him saying he doesn’t want to go home! Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

What we do to keep children safe

Create Safe Spaces & Practices

  • Nappy change areas are designed to have visibility windows and are set up for maximum supervision
  • Our policies also cater for team members being in sight or sound of another team member at all times.
  • Safety embedded in daily programs – by conducting daily checklists, comprehensive risk assessments, and more
  • personal phones or devices are not allowed in learning spaces.

Safe People Who Follow Safe Policies

  • Working With Children Checks for all team members. Automatic alerts if a WWCC is revoked and team member not eligible for shifts
  • Rigorous reference checks – must provide previous line managers for their past roles
  • Annual compulsory Suitability Declarations to confirm ongoing fitness to work with children
  • Mandatory reporting and speaking up – report concerns immediately and all concerns will be investigated fully
  • Ongoing mandatory training in child safety, including annual refreshers and leadership-specific modules

Daily Rates

Our daily rates are all inclusive and have no additional charges for incursions / excursions or any of our learning programs. The rates shown are an estimate based on using Childcare Subsidy (CCS) subsidised hours. The CCS helps lower your out-of-pocket costs, with subsidy rates dependant on your individual family eligibility levels.

Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:

Kindergarten Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School kindergarten program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the VIC Government’s Free Kinder
Program. Eligible children aged three years and above will receive up to $2101 in
additional subsidies to reduce your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when
you tour the centre.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language
