I’ve had experience with my children being from nursery right up to kindy and I absolutely can’t fault the running of the centre, the care and dedication of the educators and the overall vibes of the centre!

Every educator is genuinely invested in the wellbeing and development of each child and especially children who struggle with drop offs, they settle within minutes because the educators know how to distract them and get them involved and have a great day! They’re always happy to chat and tell you about your child’s day and what they got up to!

The food is amazing! There’s always fruit being served at morning tea, a filling meal for lunch and afternoon tea is always a hit! Mine have been known to eat 2 or more serves of each! They learn about routine and clearing their plates at the end of each meal from an early age, hand hygiene and eating together as a group! I know atleast a couple of times a week they are getting a great day of food!

Communication is impeccable via email. Generally I can send an email and it is responded to within 24 hours or sooner which is fantastic. They’re also happy to chat in person if needed! The kids’ learning is updated daily on Storypark so I always know what they’ve been up to and what lessons they’ve had for the day!

Overall I absolutely love Guardian Pasadena. To always be greeted with happy friendly faces who are always genuinely interested in you and your child, it makes you feel like you belong and you feel comfortable leaving your most prized possessions with them!

We have had a wonderful experience at Guardian Childcare Pasadena and cannot speak highly enough of the centre. The management team (Erica and Samantha) are exceptional. They are professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for both children and families. Thanks to the educators especially Dip, Quyen, Chloe, Prakriti and Lakshika who are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. They go above and beyond to make each child feel safe, valued, and supported. The activities are engaging, fun, and thoughtfully designed to support children’s learning and development while keeping them excited and happy.
The centre itself is always clean, welcoming, and well organised, with a wide range of excellent facilities. The large backyard offers plenty of space, toys, and equipment for outdoor play and exploration. Our son was very happy throughout his time at this centre, which gave us great peace of mind as parents. Seeing him enjoy learning, build confidence, and look forward to attending each day meant everything to us. I would highly recommend Guardian Pasadena to any family looking for a friendly, caring, and high-quality early learning environment :)

Absolutely amazing childcare! The educators are so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in every child’s growth. The new centre manager is absolutely incredible — by far the best we’ve ever had. The way she engages with each child, genuinely learns their individual needs, and adapts so naturally to support them is beyond amazing. She creates such a safe and comfortable environment for families, and it’s so reassuring knowing that any changes at home will be understood, respected, and followed through at care without hesitation.

As a mom who recently enrolled my child at Guardian Pasadena Center, I couldn't be happier with our experience so far. We love our Guardian Pasadena family! My toddler's separation anxiety had me starting to believe we would have to put off childcare until he was kindy aged. Now he walks in by himself and runs to give his educator a hug! I feel so safe leaving him there whilst I am at work, and I love hearing stories about his day. He is only 2, but the educators have him focussing better on books, science experiments and following routine. Best of all, he is starting to make friends. I would recommend this childcare to any Mum anxious about leaving her child with strangers.

Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

What we do to keep children safe

Create Safe Spaces & Practices

  • Nappy change areas are designed to have visibility windows and are set up for maximum supervision
  • Our policies also cater for team members being in sight or sound of another team member at all times.
  • Safety embedded in daily programs – by conducting daily checklists, comprehensive risk assessments, and more
  • personal phones or devices are not allowed in learning spaces.

Safe People Who Follow Safe Policies

  • Working With Children Checks for all team members. Automatic alerts if a WWCC is revoked and team member not eligible for shifts
  • Rigorous reference checks – must provide previous line managers for their past roles
  • Annual compulsory Suitability Declarations to confirm ongoing fitness to work with children
  • Mandatory reporting and speaking up – report concerns immediately and all concerns will be investigated fully
  • Ongoing mandatory training in child safety, including annual refreshers and leadership-specific modules

Our daily rates are all inclusive and have no additional charges for incursions / excursions or any of our learning programs. The rates shown are an estimate based on using Childcare Subsidy (CCS) subsidised hours. The CCS helps lower your out-of-pocket costs, with subsidy rates dependant on your individual family eligibility levels.

Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:

  2. Pick-up and drop-off updates – Our Educators will share highlights from their day, including experiences they enjoyed, mealtimes, and naps to support your evening routine.

Our Flying Start to School preschool program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.
