My son started at Guardian Grange in the nursery room at 10 months and is now in the Kindy room, he has loved it, the centre it’s self is clean, tidy, spacious with lots of natural light and a great outdoor area, all of the educators and centre management are a delight to deal with, great with my son, great with their communication and are honest with me about his development and behaviour. The meals they serve are nutritious and delish, he eats 2-3 serves of everything, I couldn’t recommend Guardian Grange enough!
Response from the owner:Thank you for such thoughtful feedback, Jess! We’re delighted your son has enjoyed his journey from nursery to kindy. It’s great to hear you appreciate the clean, spacious environment with natural light and outdoor play, as well as the honest communication about his development. We’re also thrilled he loves the nutritious meals! Your recommendation means so much—thank you for trusting us.

With no family support in Adelaide, the staff at Guardian Grange have been invaluable members in our village, helping and supporting our daughters growth and development. They made the transition for my child as smooth as possible, being supportive and understanding and leading any supportive interventions that were needed. The centre is always clean and clearly well organised. The staff are always friendly and you can tell they really care about each child and family. There are multiple forms of communication to ensure an open communication system, with nothing ever getting missed. Overall my family has had a great time attending this centre and my child loves attending

We started our 1 year old at Guardian Grange in January and have been so impressed with the service. The team or educators in the nursery are incredible and have ensured that our child settled in as quickly as possible. They have a fantastic on sight chef who makes meals especially for any child with dietary requirements and they organise fantastic learning experiences for the children. I would recommend Guardian Grange to anyone!

Our educators truly care about creating a warm and nurturing environment, and it's wonderful to know their efforts are appreciated. We're also thrilled that our on-site chef has been able to cater to your child's dietary needs and that the learning experiences have been engaging and fun. Guardian Grange offers a lovely, clean and full of natural light space for children. All of their staff are very friendly and they always greet you with a smile.

A variety of nutritious lunch and afternoon tea are offered there thanks to their amazing chef. My son always eats really well. Perhaps they could make morning tea a little more exciting rather than just fruit salad everyday all year round. For example, they could occasionally add on some yoghurt, waffles, pancakes or muffins as well.

Nursery team's regular staff ie. Samantha, Sama and Tia are excellent educators who are very hard working, patient, supportive and reliable. They have made my son's transition to childcare a success. Occasionally when there are non-regular staff or they are short-staffed, things get missed and/or overlooked. It would be great to see some improvement in this area.

There are a variety of stimulating activities offered throughout the day. My son definitely enjoys all the sensory, arts and crafts activities. It would be great to see those activities offered more frequently to the children.

Overall, I am very happy with the experience at Guardian Grange so far. Although there is still room for improvement, my son definitely seems happy and thriving under their care. This makes it so much bearable for me to be away from him for the day knowing he would always have lots of fun and yummy food.
Response from the owner:Thank you Jennifer for your great review for our centre in Grange. We are so happy to hear that we are meeting your expectations. We will continue to provide the best possible care for out families and children 😊

The transition for my little one into Guardian's care from another center was very smooth. From the first day she felt comfortable and enjoyed her time with the educators in the center. At the last center she would cry when I dropped her off, but at Guardian she's only cried once.
The educators have been supportive and communicated her learning and well being on a daily basis.
The food is healthy and looks delicious, the center is clean and vibrant and staff are always friendly.
I highly recommend this center!

Guardian Grange is so lovely, the staff are great and activities/education and meals are also of high standard. Hygiene standards are also high and the centre is well designed and very clean. Can't fault them. Guardian has made my grandson so very welcome.

Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Learning should be fun! Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Preschool Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School preschool program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

We’re proud to partner with the SA government, providing additional funding to deliver the highest-quality preschool program for children.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
