We couldn’t be happier with the care and support our daughter, Macey, receives at Guardian Daw Park. From the very first day, the educators have gone above and beyond to make her feel safe, welcomed, and excited to learn.
The team is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s wellbeing. It’s clear how dedicated the director and educators are—not only to helping the children learn, but also to nurturing their confidence and individuality. Macey lights up when she talks about her day and the wonderful activities they do, and we’ve noticed so much growth in her independence and social skills since starting.
The communication with families is excellent, and we always feel informed and included. It’s such a comforting feeling knowing that Macey is surrounded by caring, passionate educators who truly love what they do.
We are incredibly grateful to the Guardian Daw Park team for creating such a positive, supportive environment. Highly recommend!
Response from the owner:Thank you for such a heartfelt review, Chloe. It is wonderful to hear how supported Macey has felt from her very first day and how much she has grown in confidence and independence. Your kind words about the warm and attentive approach of the educators, along with the dedication you have seen from the whole team, mean so much. It is lovely to know she speaks with such joy about her days and the experiences she is having. We truly appreciate your feedback and your recommendation.

Staff are second to none, and create a great daily environment. The communication to parents is exemplary.
Physically the Centre has lots of indoor and outdoor spaces, and they cater to any allergies in their freshly made meals.
Response from the owner:Thank you, Genevieve, for your lovely feedback. We’re so pleased to hear you value the educators’ dedication, the excellent communication, and the thoughtfully designed spaces. Your recognition of the freshly prepared meals and allergy care means a lot to us. Thank you for your support!

We have attended Guardian for 5 yrs starting when it opened. It’s a home away from home ! So appreciate the educators who take such pride and joy in developing each and every child. Always having a smile on their face no matter the time of day or situation they in. It really takes a special kind of person to do this each and every day! To the manager and her support staff - nothing is a problem and where they can assist they will. Very approachable! The chef is a firm favourite with the kids and the meals he makes! Overall grateful for Guardian Daw Park!

We’ve had the most positive experience with Guardian Daw Park and feel very fortunate that our children are able to learn and grow in such a supportive and caring environment. Laura and her team are simply the best - proactive, keep us well informed throughout the day, great communication and give us plenty of notice of any changes e.g. room transitions. We’ve seen first hand the benefits of enrolling the kids at Guardian Daw Park - the learning, activities, social interactions and education has far exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend!

I could not love the centre more! My little one has some special needs and they have gone above and beyond to tackle the challenges head on with such good attitudes to boot! They have made our transition into childcare seamless, and I cannot believe how much my child has thrived in this environment. My daughter has been at Guardian at Daw Park since she was 8 months old. They have been so nurturing and caring with both my little one and myself. The centre is so nice and clean, the staff are lovely and supportive and the program is fantastic. I would highly recommended this child care centre.

A wonderful Childcare Centre with excellent staff who really care about the families and children that attend. Reliable, consistent communication of information and comprehensive learning programs that are adapted to suit the needs and interests of the children in each cohort. Not to mention the fantastic (broad) menu supplied for meals offered each day. It puts my mind at ease knowing that my son is in such good hands :)

My son loves all the staff here and they make a lot of effort to share his learning experiences via updates and photos.
It's a very busy centre and staff manage it well.

We can't fault Guardian Daw Park, the facilities, staff and support have been fantastic since we started here in 2020 with a screaming bub in tow. 8 months on and she can't wait to go daycare to spend time with her educators and eat copious amounts of the great food the chef prepares. Highly recommend.
Brooke H.
My children the girls that work here... Always have good day! Come home and tell me everything they learn ( 4 year old does, 18 month old doesn’t talk.)
Lauren K.
The team at Guardian Daw Park are amazing and we couldn't be happier with the care they provide our our children, and the kindness and support they have provided our family as a whole. We were one of the first families to join the centre when it opened and our kids have thrived in this environment. Its is intimate centre and the carers themselves are amazing. We are so grateful for the work they do and the love they have shown our kids. Its exceptionally clean, the resources are outstanding and we couldn't be more impressed with the whole team - from the chef, carers to management. Thank you for the great job you do everyday.

We absolutely love Guardian Childcare and Education at Daw Park. The quality of teaching and education that our son is getting is outstanding! We are constantly amazed at the skills that we see him doing at home which he has picked up from the quality programs and routines that are established at Guardian. It is clear that our son is valued and respected at Guardian, by the fact that all the educators know his name and always greet him with such kindness, our son is always happy and excited to be there. The professionalism of staff is excellent, with regular updates through StoryPark and newsletters, phone calls and an informative chat during afternoon pick up. I have no doubt that our son is receiving the best possible quality care and education through Guardian and highly recommend the centre to all future families.

Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Learning should be fun! Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Preschool Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School preschool program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
