We are lucky to put our kid in this wonderful daycare centre. The educators are incredibly friendly and caring, they always try their best to creating a nurturing environment where our kid feels safe and happy. The facility is well-maintained and equipped with a variety of learning resources that stimulate the children’s curiosity and development. The growth from my kid since attending is amazing and I will continue to recommend this childcare centre to the families live in Coorparoo area.

We adore this daycare and the educators who look after the children so well. The administration staff have always been lovely and welcoming, and the centre has a lovely feel to it. There is a lovely garden, sandpit, a chicken coup and their own personal chef! We have always felt the care to be exceptional, including making sure children are comforted, sunscreen is reapplied, and the food is varied and nutritious.
Response from the owner:Thank you Helene for your 5-star rating for our centre in Coorparoo. We really appreciate your positive review and look forward to creating a great experience at Guardian over many more days to come!

I want to thank each and every member of the team for working tirelessly to support my 10 month old transition into daycare. Our little one has come leaps and bounds in such amount of short time. I was recommended the centre from my sister who had previously sent her 3 y.o. there. They have since moved on, but after 3 months, her son still talks about the centre and all his wonderful educators.

We will forever sing Archan and team's praises and recommend the centre to everyone in the area. Thank you Guardian Coorpraoo for all your hard work and commitment to the children's safety and happiness.
Response from the owner:Thank you Summer for your great review for our centre in Coorparoo. We are so happy to hear that we are meeting your expectations. We will continue to provide the best possible care for out families and children 😊

Guardian Coorparoo is a wonderful daycare centre. The facilities are nice, with a great outdoor space (veg garden + chickens!) and the long centre hours (with offerings such as breakfast) are super helpful when we work across town. My 5-star review is mainly for the lovely, friendly, caring and supportive team of Educators and Management. I appreciate the daily updates/snapshots and the Educators clever new ideas of learning activities.
Response from the owner:Thank you for your feedback about our centre in Coorparoo! We are happy to hear such good things about you and your little one’s experience with us. At Guardian, we’re all about partnering with our families to deliver the best quality outcomes for our children and really appreciate your review.

Guardian Coorparoo is a a wonderful Daycare facility. We attended for almost 2 years only changing centers due to the fact we moved. The Educators were wonderful and they grew to feel like part of our family. Our boys were always cared for very well. The educational activities were great in extending their interests and skills.

The outdoor facilities are great, plenty of room to run around and play in. Also loved that they have chickens, tickle bees and worms great learning experience for the children.

Would highly recommend Guardian Coorparoo.

As a parent of children who have attended Guardian Coorparoo for the past 4 years, just wanted to add a recent review with my thoughts about the centre.

There is an amazing group of caring Educators who work here and the work they do is hard. During and post-COVID the centre has been working to recover from the mass changes brought about through the impact of visa changes and burnout associated with working in a frontline environment over the past few years. Thankfully, a core of dedicated team members has led the charge to welcome new team members and families to the centre.

I really like the size of this centre as it's smaller than many of the newer centres in the area. It has only 7 rooms with a good amount of space in each and importantly, a natural outdoor area with a large shady tree for the Summer. A good size sandpit, rock garden and raised garden beds that facilitate the kids learning about veggie growing
Response from the owner:Thank you Kylie for your great review for our centre in Coorparoo. We are so happy to hear that we are meeting your expectations. We will continue to provide the best possible care for our families and children 😊

Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

How will you share updates about my child’s day?

Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:

  1. Storypark app - Stay connected to your child's day with regular updates, including photos and learning insights

  2. Pick-up and drop-off updates – Our Educators will share highlights from their day, including experiences they enjoyed, mealtimes, and naps to support your evening routine.

  3. In-room learning exchange displays make our weekly learning plans easy to see so you know what your child will be learning.

  4. Centre Newsletters – Great for community connection and wider Centre and team updates.

  5. Development documentation and meetings for your individual child’s progress.

But remember our door is always open.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Learning should be fun! Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Kindergarten Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School kindergarten program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the QLD Government’s Free Kindy Program. Eligible children who turn four years old by 30 June can receive up to 15hrs of free kindergarten a week (40 weeks per year) to reduce your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
