We have been at Guardian for nearly 3 years, and have had two children go through. I cannot overstate how wonderful our time at the centre has been, especially the last 12 months under new centre manager, Kayla’s stewardship. She has been a massive support for our family this year and we are so grateful for her kindness. Nothing has been too much trouble. Kayla has made significant improvements in the centre’s overall management, appearance, and communication. For example, the outdoor areas are currently undergoing a staged revamp. We have been kept updated about the progress of this since the application for improvement was undertaken, as well as how long they will go for, and how the children will be managed while the works are undertaken. We also have regular community events planned and facilitated by the centre for weekends, which is a wonderful way for busy families to connect with each other beyond the pick up/drop off chat.

Over our time at Guardian, our children have been consistently well-cared for by their educators, and are genuinely happy to go to daycare. Every educator has been wonderful. They’ve taken the time to get to know our kids, and the relationships they have built are obvious in how at ease our children are in their care.

It is a testament to our satisfaction with Guardian Everton Hills that even after moving an hour away from the centre, we still send our children here. We have paused our enrolment for the rest of this year for personal reasons, but we will be returning in 2026 and cannot wait to be back.

I highly recommend Guardian Everton Hills. We've experienced several different centres over the years — including ones in Arana Hills and Northern NSW — and none have come close to the level of care and support we've found here. Kayla has recently taken over as centre manager to Everton Hills and can not fault. She has been amazing, friendly face to walk into on mornings and afternoons. Lots of updates which is what we love. Highly recommend this centre. Also seems to have less turnover of staff recently where our favourite teachers have been there for a while now.

We have been with Guardian Everton hills for over a year and a half. Being first time parents, sending your child into care is difficult, however, guardian has always ensured that our daughter is well looked after and cared for by their staff.

The centre has recently been given a 'face lift' with new lighting, painting and furniture. The manager, Kayla has been a well needed breathe of fresh air. We receive regular updates about staff training and happenings within the centre as well as a noticeable difference in the overall cleanliness of the rooms.

The educators are wonderful, despite running after toddlers all day they still greet you with a smile and give you a detailed handover of your child's day. It is easy to see that they are passionate about their jobs and generally care for your babies. Miss Nicole, Miss Aparna, Miss Maria, and Miss Irene you are wonderful and we appreciate you so much!

If you are looking for a dedicated, nurturing centre with skilled educators, I believe Guardian Everton hills is perfect for you.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I have had my three children attend 3 different Guardian Centres over the course of 8 years, and Everton stands out. Not only is it beautifully located, nestled amongst nature reserves, Hayley and her team are just outstanding and the quality of care my daughter has received has well exceeded my expectations. They tick every box I have as an ex-early childhood educator: Clean, well presented, stimulating and carefully presented spaces. Happy, smiling staff who are engaging with the children and acknowledging the families, quality program shared through gorgeous daily updates and photos, if a child is crying they are being attended to - truly, and a beautiful team that have made daycare a safe, extension of our family. I have a very happy 2 year old, and that is due to all of the above. Special shout out to Aparna.

The team at Guardian Everton Hills are absolutely amazing. Our son started there at the beginning of the year and they have gone above and beyond to ensure not only he but my husband and I were comfortable. They go the extra mile and are so friendly.

After coming from another daycare it has been like chalk and cheese. We are SO impressed by guardian and how their educators show a real passion and dedication to the children. It’s hard to find a good daycare these days and I will be recommending Guardian to everyone, we are so glad we decided to switch daycares.

We have been so impressed with sending our youngest daughter to Guardian at Everton Hills. All of the staff there are so friendly, caring and my daughter genuinely loves them! Her confidence within herself has grown along with learning new and exciting things at the centre. Had 2 wonderful years at this centre with our 2 boys. They watched our youngest grow from the womb! It was a very sad day to leave the beautiful team here but we are relocating north. Would highly recommend Guardian Everton Hills to anyone in the area looking for a daycare they can trust and who build meaningful relationships with the children in their care.

Everyday, I see a genuine interaction between staffs and children, Staffs that are being attuned to every child's needs. My son jumps off towards his familiar educator during drop off and always has a spark on him each time he attends the Centre.

They went above and beyond to make sure we were supported, welcomed and that my little guy was comfortable and settled. We enrolled our daughter at 10 months and she has been cared for so tenderly. She is now over 2 and so happy to attend. There is a genuine focus on fostering relationships with children. Educators are incredible, setting is sensational. This centre blows others in the area out of the water! :)

This is an absolutely amazing centre. The staff are all incredible, extremely kind and are truly interested in your child's development. We moved our children from another daycare into this one and the difference that we saw in them was pretty much instant. Could not recommend this place more highly.

A fantastically resourced centre with the most genuine and caring staff. They provide hats, nappies and food (including bottles and formula). The centre has wet areas, a light room, music room and lots of areas to play! This is a centre that you could happily send your child to from an early age and prepare them for school interactions.

This centre cares a lot about sustainability and getting the children involved with activities, including growing vegetables that will be used in the kitchen! This centre is positioned perfectly next to a park, so nature walks are part of the regular routine.

The long opening hours are also great for parents who work in town and start early!

Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

What we do to keep children safe

Create Safe Spaces & Practices

  • Nappy change areas are designed to have visibility windows and are set up for maximum supervision
  • Our policies also cater for team members being in sight or sound of another team member at all times.
  • Safety embedded in daily programs – by conducting daily checklists, comprehensive risk assessments, and more
  • personal phones or devices are not allowed in learning spaces.

Safe People Who Follow Safe Policies

  • Working With Children Checks for all team members. Automatic alerts if a WWCC is revoked and team member not eligible for shifts
  • Rigorous reference checks – must provide previous line managers for their past roles
  • Annual compulsory Suitability Declarations to confirm ongoing fitness to work with children
  • Mandatory reporting and speaking up – report concerns immediately and all concerns will be investigated fully
  • Ongoing mandatory training in child safety, including annual refreshers and leadership-specific modules

Daily Fee Information

Daily Rates

Our daily rates are all inclusive and have no additional charges for incursions / excursions or any of our learning programs. The rates shown are an estimate based on using Childcare Subsidy (CCS) subsidised hours. The CCS helps lower your out-of-pocket costs, with subsidy rates dependant on your individual family eligibility levels.

The Queensland Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week. The funding off sets the fees for children who turn four years old by 30 June in the year before they attend primary school. Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:


  1. Storypark app - Stay connected to your child's day with regular updates, including photos and learning insights

  2. Pick-up and drop-off updates – Our Educators will share highlights from their day, including experiences they enjoyed, mealtimes, and naps to support your evening routine.

  3. In-room learning exchange displays make our weekly learning plans easy to see so you know what your child will be learning.

Kindergarten Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School kindergarten program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the QLD Government’s Free Kindy Program. Eligible children who turn four years old by 30 June can receive up to 15hrs of free kindergarten a week (40 weeks per year) to reduce your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
