Best childcare centre in the 4300 postcode area! (We did A LOT of tours)
I know my daughter is always full, happy and cared for when she is here. The smile and hugs she gives to the staff is all the evidence I need.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Kacee. It means a lot to hear that after visiting so many centres, you feel confident in your choice with us. Knowing your daughter is happy, well cared for, and heading home full with smiles on her face is exactly what we hope for. Those hugs for our educators truly say it all. Thank you for trusting us with such an important part of your family’s life.

The team are exceptional educators who provide wonderful learning opportunities and activities for the kids, centre communication is excellent, health and safety policies are followed to the tee which results in very few sick days, and the facilities are always tidy and maintained. Can't recommend highly enough.
Response from the owner:Thank you, Tahnee! We’re delighted you value the exceptional educators, engaging learning opportunities, and strong communication. It’s wonderful to hear you appreciate the focus on health and safety and the well-maintained facilities. Thank you for your recommendation!

We’ve been with Guardian Augustine Heights for the past 2 years & we love it! When we did the walk around prior to enrolment, our daughter was mesmerised by the centre & all the artwork that the children had made at decorated the centre.

The staff are great, our daughter loves it & has made so many little friends & has grown so much thanks to the amazing educators. Katelyn is an excellent centre manager, always happy to help, as well as Krystina. They are both very welcoming & lovely ladies who care about the staff, children & the families associated with the centre.

As for the menu, our daughter never comes home with an empty tummy. Chef Michael goes above & beyond to provide a healthy & balanced menu for the kids to enjoy.

If you’re looking for a centre for your child/ren to attend where they’ll be looked after & cared for, Augustine Heights is the centre. Can’t recommend them enough, we love the centre & the staff!
Response from the owner:Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled your daughter has loved her time with us, from the creative environment to the friendships she’s made. It’s wonderful to hear you value the caring team, the welcoming management, and the nutritious meals prepared by our chef. Your recommendation means so much—thank you for trusting us!

Between the two of my boys, our family have been through every age group from nursery to kindergarten. Throughout the years, the educators have been so genuine and dedicated, and it's been so heartwarming to see my baby reaching his arms out to the educators at drop off. Wether it's sleep issues, food sensitivities or just a rough morning - every concern I had have been listened to and catered for, and I always leave for work reassured that the educators and I are on the same page, and that my babies are genuinely loved and nurtured. Whenever I had questions about the booking systems or CCS, the admin team was always happy to help and worked with us to come up with the best plan for our family.
Overall, very happy with the consistent high quality care and clear communication we've received over the years.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for your beautiful review Valeriya! It’s been a real privilege to support your family through each stage of your boys’ early learning journey. We’re so glad to hear that the care and dedication of our educators have made a lasting impression, those moments of connection, like your little one reaching out to our educators at drop-off, mean the world to us. We’re also pleased to know that your concerns around sleep, food sensitivities, and those tougher mornings have been met with understanding and support. Building strong, open communication with families is something we value deeply, and it’s great to hear that you’ve felt reassured and listened to. Thank you as well for your kind words about our admin team. We’re happy they’ve been able to help with bookings and CCS questions in a way that worked best for your family. We truly appreciate your trust and ongoing support over the years. It’s been a joy to be part of your children’s growth and learning!

Centre manager Sam very friendly and kind.
Amazing environment for kids.

Our son is thriving in this service and we love the care and education he receives, it feels like everyday he comes home with a new skill or piece of knowledge. The educators are all welcoming and kind, and he has built strong connections with his primary educator, often giving us a huge rundown on how he spent time with “his” Miss Jess that day. The food provided is nutritional and tasty, given there’s often not a meal he doesn’t eat! The educators also foster the relationships each child creates with another, which provides so much relief at drop off when you can guide your child to their friends. We can’t rate the centre highly enough!
Response from the owner:Thank you Katelyn for your 5-star rating for our centre in Augustine Heights. We really appreciate your positive review and look forward to creating a great experience at Guardian over many more days to come!

Our son has attended since he was 12mths old and is now in the Pre-Kindy program. The educators are friendly and welcoming to parents and children alike. I have found them to be very observant of his likes, dislikes etc and keep us updated regularly. We also LOVE their on-site Chef who provides a wide variety of delicious and nutritious meals throughout the day - I don't know what I'll do when I have to start packing school lunches! I recommend Guardian to anyone looking for a loving and supportive centre.
Response from the owner:Thank you for your feedback about our centre in Augustine Heights! We are happy to hear such good things about you and your little one’s experience with us. At Guardian, we’re all about partnering with our families to deliver the best quality outcomes for our children and really appreciate your review.
Han N.
My son starts to go childcare since 5 months old. The place is very clean and they have very big nursery room which is very good. I can see the educators really care for my son. The only downside is that you need to fill out the form every single morning for them to be able to apply cream or medication on your kid ( it is inconvient because my son has eczma and he has to apply eczma cream everyday so i have to fill the form every morning) but overall im very happy.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the kind words, Han! We’re so happy your visit at our Augustine Heights went so well. We’d love to continue providing great service to all Guardian families as our children are what matters most. I will also pass on your comments about forms that need to be filled out every morning and find a solution together. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you back at the centre!

Our child attends the Guardian Childcare at Augustine Heights and we adore this centre. The staff who care for our child are trusting, thoughtful, attentive, caring and encouraging. We have seen such growth in our little ones development both physical and mental thanks to the efforts put in by everyone there. The centre managers have always kept us informed with any changes and have been quick to assist us and answer any queries. I couldn't recommend this childcare enough. I look forward to hearing the adventures our little one has been on each day.

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

How will you share updates about my child’s day?

Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:

  1. Storypark app - Stay connected to your child's day with regular updates, including photos and learning insights

  2. Pick-up and drop-off updates – Our Educators will share highlights from their day, including experiences they enjoyed, mealtimes, and naps to support your evening routine.

  3. In-room learning exchange displays make our weekly learning plans easy to see so you know what your child will be learning.

  4. Centre Newsletters – Great for community connection and wider Centre and team updates.

  5. Development documentation and meetings for your individual child’s progress.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Learning should be fun! Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Kindergarten Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School kindergarten program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the QLD Government’s Free Kindy Program. Eligible children who turn four years old by 30 June can receive up to 15hrs of free kindergarten a week (40 weeks per year) to reduce your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
