I’m extremely happy with this childcare centre. The educators are warm, patient, and truly care about the children. The environment is clean, safe, and very well organised. Communication with parents is excellent, and the staff always go above and beyond to support the kids. Highly recommend this centre to any family looking for quality care and education!
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Rawan! We are thrilled to hear that you’re so happy with your experience and that our educators, environment, and communication have made a positive impact for your family. Your kind words mean a lot to our team, and we’re delighted to continue supporting your child’s care and learning.

Response from the owner:Thank you, Dinesh, for your 5-star rating! We truly appreciate your support.

Honestly the centre management and educators are amazing! My children are sooo taken care of and adore their teachers! I cannot express my gratitude as a mama of a child with extra needs also. They take so much individualised care for the children and have created a whole morning system around drop off for my son who needs the extra encouragement as he has attachment issues. I cannot recommend this school more. Having come from another centre that really broke my trust in the daycare system for quite a while, they have built it up with me. From the front desk staff to even the trainees, everyone not only communicates effectively and kindly to me but also each other.
Response from the owner:Thank you, Ellen, for sharing such a heartfelt review. It’s wonderful to hear how much trust and confidence you’ve regained and that your children feel so cared for and connected with their educators. We’re especially glad that the individualised support for your little one, who needs the extra encouragement, has made a positive difference and that the drop-off system helps him feel comfortable. Your kind words about the entire team—from management to trainees—mean so much, and we’re committed to maintaining that level of care and communication every day. Thank you for your recommendation and for allowing us to be part of your family’s early learning journey.

My son has been going to Gurdian Elderslie for a few years now.
Everyone in that centre has my respect and love.
They take the time for transitions into each room, they listen to the childs needs.
And most importantly, they love them like they are their own.
I couldn't ask for better educators 💓
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt review Jade! It’s wonderful to hear that your son has had such a positive experience with us. It’s clear that the educators have built a strong, trusting relationship with him, making sure each transition is smooth and tailored to his needs. The love and care they provide truly make a difference, and we’re so glad to know that they’ve earned your respect and trust. Your kind words mean a lot, and it’s amazing to hear how much you appreciate the team there!

Lovely caring staff, professional and engage children in many fun activities. The educators approach to each child’s individual needs helps the children grow and develop many skills associated to playing, learning and social skills.

Staff are very friendly. My daughter (8mths) settled in easily and had no issues at the daycare. A special thank you to Miss Lauren in Baby Boulevard. She always kept me updated, answered all my questions and made me feel extremely confident in the daycare, especially with me being entirely new to the process! Thank you Lauren - you are a great representative for Petit!

Can’t express how much I love this centre!! After a horrible experience at a previous centre I was feeling deflated but as soon as I walked into Petit Elderslie I felt the warmth from every single staff member we encountered! Fast forward to his first day he had a absolute ball, when it was time to pick him up he was happy as Larry playing with the other children laughing his head off. Was a beautiful and appreciated sight. I know look forward to daycare :)

Fantastic childcare centre with great educators! They don't just look after your children, they actually build bonds and take an interest in each of them individually.

At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Preschool Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School preschool program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the NSW Government’s Start Strong Program. Families can receive fee relief to reduce your out-of-pocket fees of up to $2174 per child aged 4 on or before 31 July 2025, and up to $515 per year for children aged 3 on or before 31 July 2025. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
