Amazing childcare centre!
The quality of care here is excellent, with really genuine, caring staff.

They also have a great focus on modern education principles which is important to me.

The facilities are also nice, with multiple outdoor areas for the kids to play in, including a huge rooftop area.
Response from the owner:Thank you, Chris! We’re thrilled you appreciate the quality of care and the genuine, caring team. It’s wonderful to hear our focus on modern education principles and the great facilities, including the rooftop play area, have stood out to you. Your feedback means so much—thank you for sharing!

Both our children are at Guardian Camperdown, the educators are incredible and so are the centre management team. We love it!

We had a great experience at Guardian daycare. I cannot say enough good things about staff. My kid was in baby class and had a great experience throughout the day. Rebekah in admin was always very helpful to us. We recently moved from abroad and were having difficulties initiating the daycare, but Rebekah consistently provided us with great knowledge, advice and support. Every teacher in the baby class deserves great applause for being innovative, educated and experienced in ensuring the kids learn and get challenged in the most fun way possible. Forever thankful to this daycare.
Response from the owner:We’re truly touched by your kind words and so happy to hear that your family had such a positive experience with us. It’s never easy moving to a new country, and we’re glad we could help make that transition a little smoother for you and your little one. Rebekah will be thrilled to hear how much her support meant to you—she’s such a valued part of our team, and it’s wonderful to see her efforts recognized. And we couldn’t agree more about our baby class educators—they pour so much love, creativity, and care into every day, and it’s amazing to hear that it made a difference for your child. We feel incredibly lucky to have had you as part of our community. Thank you for trusting us during such an important time in your family’s journey.

This is an excellent childcare.
My daughter had been here for less than a year, but she really likes the teachers. She still talked about them during our daily conversation.
The teachers here are very enthusiastic and caring. They also offered interesting and beneficial courses to help kids' development in various aspects. The class was always well organized and every kid was looked after.
Parents can get clear notifications from the app, the centre’s message board and teachers at all times.
We felt very comfortable to send our child to this centre.
Response from the owner:Thank you Hsin for your great review for our centre in Camperdown. We are so happy to hear that we are meeting your expectations. We will continue to provide the best possible care for out families and children 😊

My two sons have been attending Guardian childcare in Camperdown since the new refurbishment. We cannot speak highly enough of the centre and the staff here. We had transitioned from another daycare, and the boys' behaviour and willingness to attend have been night and day. The staff are always super accomodating and we feel that they make the effort to really get to know us as a family on a personal level. Giselle (centre manager) is really involved both from a managerial perspective as well as being hands on with the kids (this makes a huge difference to how the centre and staff run, in my opinion, from past experiences at other centres). The in house chef prepares very nutritious meals, they've even managed to get my son to start eating his vegetables! We are so glad we made the change for the boys. Highly recommend!

We have been sending our two children to the newly refurbished Camperdown Guardian since February this year and we’ve been delighted! Our Children (and my husband and I!) love the staff and the facilities are so fresh and new! There is plenty of space and the rooftop garden is a hidden gem with plenty of room for the kids to run around in the fresh air. The staff are kind, attentive and supportive of the kids development. The in house chef also gives instagram style updates of the delicious and healthy food she serves up everyday which is a great piece of mind when it comes to the kids nutrition. Highly recommend!
Response from the owner:Thank you for your feedback about our centre in Camperdown! We are happy to hear such good things about you and your little one’s experience with us. At Guardian, we’re all about partnering with our families to deliver the best quality outcomes for our children and really appreciate your review.

My son, who was new to this country and the English Language, could not settle at all at another child care centre because their director suggested us to send him to the centre full day from day 2 without any parents companion. After 2 weeks of frustration and crying we had to remove him from that centre and that's when we found Guardian in Camperdown. The director was obviously more experienced. She said because of the new environment, language and people my son can easily gets overwhelmed. We should do this step by step, be there with him for at least 1 week and start from half day. We took her suggestion and with the help of the other lovely teachers, my son settled beautifully.

Rhythm of the Day

We know children and families like routine, so you will always receive a warm welcome each morning and an invitation to stay for breakfast. At the end of the day, a smooth transition is assured with your child’s belongings ready for you after a day that fulfils your child's interests and curiosity. In between, the day is filled with new and exciting experiences to engage young minds as part of their early childhood education. Here’s a glimpse of what a day of play-based learning at our childcare centre often looks like.

Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

How will you share updates about my child’s day?

Great communication is vital in our collaborative partnerships with families at the Centre. We have a variety of different ways we communicate with you about your child’s learning and progress:

  1. Storypark app - Stay connected to your child's day with regular updates, including photos and learning insights

  2. Pick-up and drop-off updates – Our Educators will share highlights from their day, including experiences they enjoyed, mealtimes, and naps to support your evening routine.

  3. In-room learning exchange displays make our weekly learning plans easy to see so you know what your child will be learning.

  4. Centre Newsletters – Great for community connection and wider Centre and team updates.

  5. Development documentation and meetings for your individual child’s progress.

But remember our door is always open.

Our Learning Programs

Learning should be fun! Learning through play encourages children to explore and understand their world at their own pace. It helps build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity.

Preschool Program
Flying start to school

Our Flying Start to School preschool program is lead by degree qualified Teachers in a long day care setting. Our specialist two-year program is committed to supporting your child as they prepare for big school. We focus on nurturing their confidence, making friends and social emotional growth while also supporting their abilities in reading, writing, counting, and thinking skills. Whether it’s building with blocks, practicing their first letters, or learning to share with friends, every experience is carefully designed to support your child’s development.

Our Centre is a recipient of funding as part of the NSW Government’s Start Strong Program. Families can receive fee relief to reduce your out-of-pocket fees of up to $2174 per child aged 4 on or before 31 July 2025, and up to $515 per year for children aged 3 on or before 31 July 2025. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

Out and about

Through excursions, children are supported to expand their world, to get to know their community, and have a sense of belonging. Their learning thrives when they feel safe, welcome, and that they belong.

Cooking

Cooking experiences teach numeracy by counting ingredients, and weighing and measuring quantities and volume, while managing these tasks supports independence and confidence.

Ella Language

Learning languages through Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) supports brain development and social skills and creates opportunities to celebrate cultural diversity.

Joy of Reading

Reading aloud to children each day inspires imagination and supports thinking. Books with rhythm, rhyme and word patterns make stories more playful and memorable.

Sustainability

From growing veggies and foraging in the garden for that day’s meal ingredients to learning about recycling, children learn about being part of a community, connecting to their environment and understanding their impact on the world.
