Join Guardian Childcare and Education as a Funding & Finance Coordinator, supporting our Early Childhood centres and families to navigate funding processes efficiently. What you’ll do:
- Process weekly funding and fee relief allocations.
- Manage the funding inbox and resolve centre and parent queries.
- Monitor weekly and quarterly funding allocations, investigating anomalies.
- Support centres with compliance, reporting, and funding responsibilities.
- Work closely with the Department of Education and our accounts platform to ensure accurate funding data.
- Assist with financial forecasts, year-end processes, audits, and ad hoc finance requests.
- Communicate clearly with Centre Managers, the finance team, and the network to resolve funding issues efficiently.
- Support onboarding of new centres and acquisitions to ensure smooth funding setups.
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of Qikkids or similar early childhood account software (highly desirable).
- Experience in weekly funding allocations, reconciliations, or similar finance processes.
- Strong understanding of funding guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Intermediate Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- ECE experience is a bonus, but corporate finance professionals looking to step into the sector are welcome.
