You’ll create meals that spark curiosity—helping children explore colour, taste, and texture—while being part of a collaborative team that values food as an important part of the learning experience.

About the Centre Our centre is a well-established service with a strong local reputation—many families come to us through word of mouth.
We care for 139 children and provide 5 meals daily (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and late snack). Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality care, and we’re proud to have been recognised with:

The Role
- Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal menus (including a 4-week rotation) aligned with national guidelines
- Cater for allergies and dietary requirements with confidence
- Create fresh, wholesome meals (think hidden veggies and homemade sauces!)
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Build positive relationships with children, educators, and families
About You
- Passionate about cooking and nutrition for children
- Experience managing dietary requirements and allergies
- Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or working towards) desirable
- Current Working with Children Check
