Robert Shin is Acre Woods Eastwood’s ever-smiling and friendly Centre Manager. Having spent eight years in the early childhood sector, he’s passionate about children’s learning and development and loves the time he gets to spend with them each day. It’s been all systems go at Bird House West Pennant Hills! From the arrival of some feathery friends to bake sales to a very special treat for our hard working team of educators, there hasn’t been a dull moment at this early learning centre in Sydney.
The long-standing, close-knit team help to make this place both families and educators love to come, with many of the educators being at the centre for over four years (with a few newbies along the way). Read more
An outdoor oasis can be a hard thing to find in the CBD, but step into Elizabeth Street Early Learning Centre and you’ll find a sunny outdoor area filled with children exploring, playing and learning.
Centre Manager, Jessie Mar-Lavulo calls the space an “outdoor wonderland” that offers many opportunities and “potential for children’s learning” which is used on a daily basis – regardless of the weather. Read more
It’s been non-stop action at Guardian Early Learning Centre – Caringbah over the last few months. This childcare centre in the Shire has been busy setting up a new light space area and having a lot of fun along the way.
Using projectors donated from the local high school, this space focusses on intentional teaching where educators take an active role in children’s learning and builds on children’s interests and skills. Read more
