Breakfast Chia Cups

Serves 4

Chef’s note: Chia seeds are packed with nutrients like fibre, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants, which can contribute to better digestive health, heart health, and blood sugar regulation. They’re a great start to the day for young children. 


  • 2 cups coconut milk or milk of choice
  • 6 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 mashed banana
  • Sliced banana and fresh strawberries, for topping


  1. In a bowl, mix coconut milk (or milk of choice), chia seeds, vanilla paste, cinnamon, and mashed banana until well combined.
  2. Allow the mixture to chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  3. Serve chilled and top with sliced banana and fresh strawberries.
