Morning

Breakfast time provides a great chance for you to share what is important and how your baby’s night at home was.

Mid-Morning

Your baby will enjoy engaging in both our indoor and outdoor nursery environments with planned experiences like songs and story time, followed by morning tea.

Middle of the Day

Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. When your baby is ready, they are gently settled for sleep and rest.

Mid-Afternoon

Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided.

End of Day

The Nursery team are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening.

Morning

Engaging experiences will be set up so your toddler feels comfortable and can start playing with other children. We will talk to you about what’s important for the day and what happened overnight, helping us support your child’s individual needs. Children can enjoy learning experiences with children of different ages at drop off time – we call this family grouping.

Mid Morning

Indoor & outdoor learning environments are set up for the children to explore and learn through movement such as climbing, balancing, jumping and dancing, with more supported learning through drawing, painting and singing songs enjoyed after morning tea.

Middle of the day

Children come together as a group and slow down to enjoy lunch, made by our in-house cooks, with an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax for children who want or need to.

For those who don’t, there are more planned experiences to support development, most likely outdoors, or an excursion into the community to encourage social skills.

Mid-Afternoon

Our team plans more opportunities for play, exploration, creativity and fun with friends, before coming together for afternoon tea, where the team supports their growing independence with opportunities to practice serving themselves.

End of Day

Children come together again from across the centre to enjoy age-appropriate, planned experiences. Educators share with you information about your child’s day and their learning.

Morning

Children arrive with engaging experiences set up for them and their friends of different ages to play with together, supporting collaboration and communication across age groups. You can speak with the team about what’s important for your child for the day and what happened the night before at home.

Mid Morning

Our Flying Start to School Kindergarten learning program continues throughout the morning with planned experiences for pretend play, reading or exploring puzzles together, before children are then invited to enjoy morning tea. Our program continues with opportunities for children to explore and discover in both our indoor and outdoor environments.

Afternoon

Children enjoy lunch, which is an important ritual that supports children’s independence & social skills. After the meal, there is a chance to rest, but if they don’t need to, our Flying Start to School Kindergarten learning program continues, with activities in our outdoor space, which may include playing games in a group or working together on a construction project.

There will be opportunities for children and families to take part in our excursion program. For older children, this includes visits to our local school, supporting a successful transition.

If children would like to, or need to, there’s an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax.  If children don’t need to rest, our Flying Start to School learning program continues, where they can enjoy our outdoor space – this might include playing games in a group or working together on a construction project.

Afternoon tea is a time for children to come together in small groups and fosters a sense of belonging.

End of Day

Pick up time is another opportunity for children of different ages to spend time together and enjoy age-appropriate learning experiences. It’s also when you’ll be able to speak to our qualified early childhood teachers and educators who will share information about your child’s learning, special moments, and how their day was overall.
