Learn More About Our Centre

Playdays Preschool and Long Day Care Centre – Rouse Hill is located in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. The benefit of being a small centre is we enjoy a wonderful rapport that comes from knowing our children and families really well. We welcome children from 6 weeks to just before they head off to school. We liaise closely with the local Primary School, developing common goals and strategies, ensuring your child’s transition to school is smooth.

The foundation of our learning opportunities is built on real life experiences to delve deeper into each child’s wonderings about their world and each other. We endeavour to help each child become a respectful and passionate learner and citizen.

Taking care of our vegetables and herbs is always exciting; we harvest the basil, chives, parsley, kale, lettuce and carrots and our Little Chefs help prepare these to include in our delicious meals. Our pet rabbit, Bun Bun, and our guinea pigs, Sparkly & Freddy, also enjoy munching on our home grown basil and kale. We also take advantage of the park where the children can explore and collect, leaves, bark, seed pods, feathers and other natural treasures.

Our educators are kind, dedicated and professional. They use their intimate knowledge of each and every child to create a fun, inspirational, and educational environment in which children can learn and grow. Families are encouraged to share knowledge about their child to be actively involved in their learning.

We are always forthcoming with information about our centre and your child’s learning and progress, and we welcome family involvement in our service. Meals provided are nutritionally balanced and are made from scratch by our on-site cook. The children even help to make afternoon tea three times a week!
