More about Guardian Sherwood Forest expand_more
Guardian Childcare & Education Sherwood Forest is located just behind the main street in Sherwood. The building has been lovingly transformed from a church into a warm and welcoming home away from home, complete with colourful and stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces.
With great resources and amazing indoor and outdoor spaces, your child will have the room to explore and flex their curiosity and creativity. Our playgrounds are designed as a place of wonder and inspiration, and we have incredible spaces to meet the developmental needs for children of all ages – from six weeks to six years of age. We have quiet spaces to relax and places for active play where children can ride their bikes, climb and run.
Our routines are flexible, and programs are based on the children’s personal interests. Each child is encouraged to contribute their ideas about what to learn. We offer a variety of incursions and excursions throughout the year, all of which are included in your child’s fees.
We want to better understand your child to deliver them the best early learning experience possible. So, we connect with families in person and through our StoryPark app, so you can enjoy the learning journey alongside your child. StoryPark enables the centre to provide real time updates to families, which is important for you but also supports open communication between the educators and the families. The focus is on providing children with plenty of opportunities and set them up for a lifelong love of learning. You’ll be kept up to date on our unique Visible Learning Program, which gives you a great understanding of your child’s learning for the day at pick up. It will give you plenty to talk about with them on the drive home!
Many of our Educators have been with the centre for many years, and have forged strong bonds with local families. We love seeing the children grow and develop during their time with us, and then welcoming their siblings when it’s their turn to attend the centre. It’s this consistency and family focus that has earned us the trust of our community.
Your child will love their day at Guardian Childcare & Education Sherwood Forest with our friendly and passionate team of Educators. We have high Educator-to-child ratios allowing educators and families to work together to ensure a happy and productive time whilst children are in our care.
Our Educators take the time to provide families with up-to-date information on their child’s day and development progress. Our Educators are selected for their qualifications and expertise in the early childhood field, and we pride ourselves on the quality of our care and the warm and secure learning environment we provide.
Your child’s learning and development will benefit greatly from their interaction with Educators and other children at the centre.
