Now, those investments are coming together; we call it Thrive Together.
Our CEO Warren Bright describes this as a defining moment for Guardian: a shift from developing individual programs and initiatives to creating one integrated approach designed around the whole child:

Learning designed around every stage of childhood
At the heart of the Guardian experience is To BE Me, our exclusive age-and-stage learning program.
We know that a baby, a toddler and a child preparing to start school are at very different points in their development. Their interests, capabilities, confidence and readiness to learn are constantly changing.
That’s why To BE Me provides a personalised learning journey tailored to each stage of childhood, supporting children from infancy through to school.
Our specialist programs build on this foundation, including our Baby Ambassador-led approach for our youngest children and A Flying Start to School, our two-year preschool / kindergarten program.
Together, these enable educators understand where each child is on their individual learning journey and plan experiences that encourage them to explore and discover at the right level.
More than just learning
For children, we know that learning doesn’t happen in isolation.
The food they eat, the relationships they build, the spaces they spend time in and the way they feel safe and supported all contribute to how they learn.
Through Nutrition for Life, children are introduced to nutritious and interesting food and encouraged to develop positive relationships with food from an early age.
Our SafetyPlus and BeSafe initiatives are designed to strengthen our approach to safety and go beyond minimum regulatory requirements, supporting environments where children can feel secure and families can feel confident.
And through ongoing investment in our centres, learning spaces and resources, we’re creating inspiring environments designed to encourage curiosity and creativity.
Supporting the people who make it happen
A great early learning experience depends on great educators and strong leadership.
That’s why we’ve also been investing in the people who make a difference to children every day.
Our Guardian Leadership Academy supports current and aspiring Centre Managers through professional learning, practical experience and confidential coaching. We’re also continuing to develop clearer career pathways for educators, helping our people build their skills and create fulfilling careers in early learning.
Alongside this, Thrive, our ‘way of working’ to ensure our centres operate consistently and to a high standard, provides clearer roles and routines for centre teams.
The goal is simple: to give our educators and Centre Managers the support, development and clarity they need to spend more time focused on what matters most – children and families.
One connected experience for every child
Each of these initiatives plays an important role. But we believe the real difference comes from how they work together.
As Warren explains:
“The unique part is not any one program. It is the combination of outstanding learning, strong leadership, higher safety standards, nutritious food, inspiring environments and capable, supported educators all working together around every child.”
That means a child’s experience at Guardian isn’t defined by just one program or one part of their day.
It’s about bringing together thoughtful learning, nurturing relationships, nutritious food, safe and inspiring environments and educators who understand and support their unique development.
It’s also about giving families greater visibility into their child’s learning journey – not simply what they did during the day, but what they were learning, why it mattered and how their educators were supporting their progress.

For us, redefining early learning means looking at the whole experience through a child’s eyes.
It means creating environments where children feel safe to explore, confident to try, supported to make connections, and inspired to discover something new.
And it means giving families confidence that every part of their child’s day has been thoughtfully considered.
After two years of investment and development, the individual pieces are now coming together as the one Thrive Together Guardian experience.
