The many health benefits of yoga and meditation for kids
Recently our preschool children have been enjoying some yoga and gentle stretching before some of our children have a rest.
Each child finds a spot to sit, spreading out across our outdoor space to find a place of their own.
We begin and end our yoga and meditation time with a few big, deep breaths. The children are encouraged to close their eyes and feel their body moving up and down as they breathe in and out.
They follow our teachers, educators and one another, practicing varied yoga positions and often creating their own!
The children at Guardian King Street invite you to join them as they practice mindfulness. Put on some relaxing music, gently stretch your bodies and start with some deep breaths….. in ……and out……
