Darling View – Market Street Early Learning Centre

Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Darling View – Market Street Early Learning Centre. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including herb and vegetable gardens, city viewing platforms, a spacious outdoor area, and a range of age-specific ateliers, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

With a dedicated team of Educators who have been with the centre for a long time, we are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year, as well as teaching the children sign language.

Children get out and about on weekly excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. We visit the local bookstore, fish pond, Hyde Park and surrounding businesses.

Our on-site cook prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the centre, our community-focused Educators at Darling View host cooking classes for the children to get involved in to enhance their understanding of good nutrition.

Our Educators

Our team of Educators are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. At Guardian, children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences.

Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework.

You and Your Child

All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.

Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.

Learn More About Our Centre

Darling View – Market Street Early Learning Centre is conveniently located in the heart of the CBD, next to the Queen Victoria Building and Town Hall train station.

Designed for exploration and adventure, our outdoor space has ample room for group play, as well as little nooks for hide and seek, plus gives the children an opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of their urban environment.

Connecting to the community around them, children will engage in a variety of activities such as visiting a local fruit shop in the morning, helping in fundraising activities for the Starlight Foundation, or popping in to Queens View Early Learning Centre — our ‘sister centre’ located right next door — or visiting one of our other education and childcare centres in the Sydney CBD.

Each day our on-site cook prepares fresh and seasonal home-style meals. The children love assisting in the process, and discovering different tastes and textures along the way.

Coming along on a tour and Orientation Day before your child enrols is a great way to get to know our educators, and to get a feel for our kindergarten.

To find out more about the special experiences at our Centre, drop by and meet our wonderful team. Looking something closer to your office? We also have a range of other early learning centres in Sydney and North Sydney.
