The Centre
At Guardian Preston, located in 418 Murray Road, 3072, has free onsite parking and also street parking as well! The centre is in a beautiful heritage building and it is close to Preston West Primary School and a short walk to the Preston Market and the Train station. A perfect location for our employees who use public transport and those who drive…and a good place to go for your lunch break due to the markets and cafes being near by!
The Opportunity
You will be working closely with your fellow Educators as their Lead and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum called ToBeMe!
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
To be considered, you will have:
- A completed Diploma in Children’s Services or above tertiary degree in early Childcare
- Prior experience in long day-care
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
- Current Working with Children’s Check for VIC state
