The Centre
Overlooking the beautiful landscape of Sydney Olympic Park, this 90-place centre is conveniently located near the train station. At Homebush, you will find a range of exciting, resource-rich environments both inside and outside; including herb and vegetable gardens, climbing frames and space for bike riding is where our exciting programs come to life. Inside we have a unique ‘social piazza’ where all rooms connect and children can mix freely with other age groups. We are proud to have such a culturally diverse team of Educators and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year. The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Leadership Team, you will enjoy.
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Lead and guide teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
To be considered, you will have:
- Diploma in Children Services
- Current registration with the relevant teaching authority.
- Proven experience working as a Room Leader or similar role in a preschool setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
- Current Working with Children’s Check (for NSW state)
