Educator Fee Offer Scheme

By being a part of the Guardian family, you’ll receive a percentage off your childcare fees (on your gap fee) at any one of our centres across Australia.

Further Education

We believe in lifelong learning so provide support, both financially and practically, if you wish to undertake a Bachelor of Education degree, our nationally accredited Diploma in Early Childhood Education and relevant short courses. You also have the opportunity to travel to Reggio Emilia in Italy for a study tour to further your understanding of our early learning approach.

Professional Development Days

Throughout the year we organise a range of events, conferences and workshops in order to inspire, inform and entertain. These days also give you a chance to network with educators from around the state and contribute to your own professional development.

Employee Referral Program

By referring a candidate for a full-time or part-time role at a Guardian centre or Support Office you will be eligible for up to a $2,000 bonus.

Company-wide App

Reward and Recognition

The monthly, peer-nominated G-Star awards recognise the fantastic achievements of our educators and Support Office team members. We also have annual Centre Manager and Educator awards nights which celebrate the fantastic work happening across our centres.

“Just Do It” Fund

Each centre has access to a “Just Do It” fund which can be used above and beyond their yearly budgets. These funds don’t require any Head Office approval and can be used how each individual centre sees fit. Need a new staffroom? Go for it. Want to support families at your centre that are going through some tough times? Absolutely. This fund gives you the freedom to put money towards things that mean the most to your centre.

Employee Assistance Program

The wellbeing of our staff is important at Guardian and we encourage the use of our complimentary and confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP). EAP can assist when personal, family or work related concerns are impacting on your health or quality of life.
