The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning,
- Actively contributing to the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
The Centre
Located on Morphett Road, this 104-place centre is close to public transport and street parking. Featuring six learning spaces and three dedicated art spaces, the environments are designed to engage different age groups and promote fun and a sense of belonging. The landscaped garden and playgrounds will inspire curiosity and adventure and feature a playground just for the babies. Additional centre highlights include a kitchen which connects to the piazza for the children to enjoy alfresco dining and a communal meeting place. Every day is an opportunity for growth at Guardian Seacombe Gardens.
To be considered, you will have:
- Working towards a Diploma in Children’s Services
- Prior experience in long day-care (desirable)
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
- Current Working with Children’s Check for SA state
