The Centre 
Known in the local community as ‘Flinders Street ELC’, Adelaide is a 38-place centre situated on Flinders Street. Close to public transport and with street parking in the surrounding streets, our centre is accessible for both educators and families. As the only inner-city childcare centre accepting children from birth to 2.5, our centre has strong community and parent connections.

Children get out and about on excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. We visit a variety of locations, including the Botanic Gardens, Rundle Mall, Adelaide Sustainability Centre, and the museum.

We are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year.
 
The Opportunity

To be considered, you will have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA
  • Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration 
  • Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Previous ECT experience (desirable)
  • Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent.
