The Opportunity
- Develop a seasonal, nutritious menu that respects individual requirements regarding medical conditions, food preferences, and cultural considerations and ensures children’s health and wellbeing
- Ensure children’s health and wellbeing
- Building strong relationships with the children, Educators, families and the Centre community
- Ensure best practice food safety and hygienic standards are always upheld.
To be considered, you will have:
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate or Food Safety Certificate
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable)
- An awareness of your personal responsibilities under the current Child Protection Laws
- Experience working in childcare, aged-care or atleast has good knowledge regarding dietary requirements and allergies.
- Current Working with Children’s Check for VIC state (WWCC for VIC state Employee card – or willing to obtain one)
The Centre:
Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Point Cook North, a newly refurbished, vibrant, spacious centre with an extensive outdoor play area. Our childhood education programs are focused on play-based learning, and our spacious day care and childcare centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.
Our long day care centre in Point Cook is conveniently situated for families living in and near the surrounding suburbs of Hoppers Crossing, Truganina, Werribee and Seabrook.
