Business Analyst Role Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team to take the lead in the analysis and development of Guardian’s non-finance information systems.

Role Objectives
- Gain understanding of primary systems in use across Guardian including Parent CRM, Safety System and Onboarding/Contract/HR timekeeping systems
- Use gained knowledge to drive opportunities for process and/or technical improvement in systems use across the business
- Become the Business Thought leader and use influence and assertiveness to drive required business outcomes including cost savings, increased efficiencies, increased child enrolments where practical.
- Interpret, translate, and adjust Subject Matter Expert (SME) requirements into value adding technical outcomes for system change
- Development of business system requirements for systems development (translate business outcomes to technical elements)
- Development of system test plans to ensure that systems are ready to go live after thorough testing within the business
About You
You’ll be a real team player who is solutions focused, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
You’ll also have:
- Tertiary Degree in an Information and Technology discipline (Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Business or similar essential.
- Experience supporting complex corporate systems environments
- Experience working within Enterprise-wide collaboration products: SharePoint – knowledge search, Facebook Workplace, Microsoft Teams
- Demonstrated capability to operate as a part of a team, or by yourself when necessary
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the Organisation
- Ability to guide outcomes to the maximum benefit of the business not just the SME’s needed outcomes
- Related certifications: BABOK or similar highly regarded
