About Guardian Aspendale

Our brand new, purpose-built Aspendale childcare centre will open its doors in December 2024. At Guardian Aspendale, we are committed to providing high-quality education and care for children aged six weeks to six years. Located in the City of Kingston in south-east Melbourne, with ample on-site parking, our state-of-the-art facilities will include:

  • Secure and stimulating environments for exploration and imaginative learning.
  • Tailored, personalized play-based learning approaches from our dedicated team of degree-qualified Teachers and Educators.
  • A focus on making each child’s experience as bold, creative, and imaginative as possible.


The Opportunity

As an Assistant Centre Manager, you will:

  • Support the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, secure environment where children can be brave, curious, and imaginative.
  • Build lasting, meaningful relationships with families to ensure they feel informed and confident in their children’s education and care.
  • Help develop an exceptional culture of quality and safety, making Guardian the Centre of choice in your community.
  • Contribute to making your Centre an example of Guardian’s values: bravery, positivity, thoughtfulness, and professionalism.
  • Develop skills to drive business performance, enabling Guardian to reinvest 100% of profits into high-quality education across Australia.

To be considered, you will have:

  • A completed Diploma in Children’s Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or be working towards it).
  • Prior experience in a senior or leadership role in a long day-care centre.
  • Practical knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.
  • Experience with budget and financial accountability.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and a current Working with Children check.
