Carrot, Chia and Sultana Cake
This Carrot, Chia and Sultana Cake is a must-try. It’s a flavourful and healthy snack that’s perfect for families. Crafted with love and tested by children at our Centres, this recipe is easy and nutritious.

Ingredients
- 2 kg Self raising flour
- 200 g Raw brown sugar
- 150 g Brown sugar
- 885 ml Soy milk
- 300 ml Vegetable oil
- 12 g Baking powder
- 350 g Sultana
- 50 g Carrots, grated
- 300 g Apple Puree
- 30 g Chia seeds
- 10 g Cinnamon powder
- 10 g Vanilla Essence
- 25 g Egg replacement
- 100 ml water
Instructions
- Grate carrots and set aside.
- Measure all dry ingredients and place in one bowl.
- Measure all wet ingredients and slowly pour it over dry ingredients. Make sure to mix well and no lumps.
- Combine egg replacement and water. Then pour it over the mixture.
- Fold in grated carrots until combined together.
- Pour into a lined baking tray.
- Cook it for 25-30 minutes at 175 degrees or until done.
