Caramelised Apple and Sultana Porridge with Honey
A delicious and warming breakfast, our Caramelised Apple and Sultana Porridge with Honey is the perfect start to the day. Tried and tested on children from our Centres, it’s a yummy and easy breakfast before a fun day playing with your friends!

Ingredients
- 1L milk
- 200 gms rolled oats
- 2 apples
- 75 gms sultanas
- Honey to drizzle on top
Instructions

- Put the milk in a pot and let it heat for 8-10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the oats to the milk and stir continuously once it starts to get thick.
- Take a non-stick pan, add honey and the diced apple and caramelise on low to medium heat. Add sultanas and cook until apples are cooked and have turned a caramel colour.
- Pour the oats in a mixing bowl and add the caramalised apples and sultanas on top. Drizzle with honey and it’s ready to eat.
