Butter Chicken

This Butter Chicken recipe is a must-try. It’s a flavourful and hearty dish, crafted with love and tested by thousands of children at our Centres. We hope this recipe becomes a favourite in your household too!

This recipe was provided by our wonderful Chef Ankita at Guardian Croydon Park.

Ingredients

  • 2 onions chopped
  • 4 tomatoes chopped
  • 3 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 2 tbs cumin seeds
  • 2 tbs salt
  • 3 tbs paprika powder
  • 2 tbs turmeric powder
  • 3 tbs coriander powder
  • 3 tbs vegetable oil
  • 500gm chicken
  • Cream (optional)
  • Coriander leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take a baking tray, add chicken, sprinkle onion, capsicum, curry powder, paprika powder, Italian mix and chopped tomato. Cover with aluminium foil and make a little hole using a fork. Place in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
  2. Once the chicken is cooked, cut into small pieces.
  3. Take a wrap and spread chicken and sprinkle cheese. Fold the tortilla over to form a semi-circle and cook for 2 minutes or until golden and heated through on the pan.
  4. Cut it into triangle shapes.
  5. Serve with mayo and enjoy!
